How to understand the teaching profession in contemporary society
The education of the first "Moral Education Forum" of Huizhou School in Huanggang Middle School in Wu Xuefang is the most important thing in the development of human society, and every teacher is the builder of this great cause. When we are in it, do we know what choices we are making? Have you ever thought about what this choice will cost? Especially in the contemporary society where life pressure is huge and social moral standards are almost materialized, how should we position teachers' value orientation? How to know the profession of teacher? Through continuous study, thinking and experience, I have only learned a little so far, and I am honored to share it with you today! The first thought: There are all kinds of occupations in the world, and each occupation is different. As for the characteristics of the education profession, I agree with Tian Li Xia, one of the top ten excellent class teachers in China. She said: "If you want to be successful in official career, if you want to be rich in the world, if you want to flourish, if you want to be carefree, if you want to be the focus, then you should not be a teacher, let alone a class teacher. Because choosing education means choosing ordinary, and choosing education means choosing dedication. A pure teacher, a pure class teacher, needs unprofitable, reactive and nameless. " Therefore, people who can't adapt to the profession of education for a long time should first think about whether their career choices are wrong, instead of letting loss, depression and complaints fill their lives. The second point of thinking: If the teacher's living condition is consistent with the person who chooses a career, what kind of mentality should he take to treat this ordinary and hard career? The traditional view is that the teacher is compared to a candle, which drains the wick every night, and the teacher is compared to a spring silkworm, which will be tired to death. I don't agree that being a teacher should be such a painful dedication. I think a teacher should be a person who loves life, knows life, is grateful for life, has love, dreams and positive energy in his heart. Because we are engaged in shaping people's career, to make children happy, positive and optimistic, teachers themselves must first live a happy life. How can I live a happy life? Some people say that the school strictly requires us to sit in class from morning till night and have little time to do what we like. Although this is an environmental factor, some people still feel bored and empty after a holiday and don't know how to live. This is their own problem. In fact, the happy state of life is not controlled by time, but by what everyone thinks. As long as he has a happy flower in his heart, no matter how busy he is at work, he will take time off to relax. Here, I would also like to recommend to you the "happy life" defined by many successful people, that is, the following six are: 1, smart brain; To have a wise brain, we need to keep learning and learn all kinds of knowledge that we need to master and are interested in. 2. Harmonious family; A harmonious family depends on the material foundation first. Since ancient times, every kind of labor has created value. Every teacher hopes that the value of his labor can at least provide for his family's expenses, otherwise the enthusiasm and sense of value of labor will be affected, which requires the understanding of the school. Secondly, a harmonious family needs more communication, understanding and interaction between relatives. Don't neglect the relatives around you because of some things, and enjoy life with your family after work. 3. Healthy body; This tells us to cultivate exercise habits and healthy eating habits. We can't wait until we are fat to play ball, until we have wrinkles on our skin, and then we know that we should go to bed on time, and wait until we have stomach trouble to eat on time. 4. A successful career; It's not easy to have this. First of all, we need to choose and treat our current job carefully. Secondly, we need to constantly improve our ability. 5. Rich hobbies; 6. Many mentors and friends. Besides these personal factors, capable people can take on more social responsibilities and influence more people and things. If each of us can work hard in these directions, I believe our life must be full and happy! The third point of thinking: some experiences and practices of the class teacher's work. Lesson 1: Learning is a must. Personally, a teacher with old knowledge and conformism is unpopular with students, and poor knowledge will make the work difficult to cope with, so the head teacher should cultivate good study habits and persevere. My specific approach is: 1. In the first two years when I was a class teacher, I deeply felt my lack of knowledge and experience. I go to the bookstore almost every weekend, read books, and then choose better and more applicable books to buy back, and read them whenever I need them, which helps me a lot. 2. Use network resources. The network resources are extensive and easy to learn. Although I don't surf the Internet often, I'm tired from sitting in front of the computer for a long time. When I surf the Internet, I will write down some good websites, browse occasionally, download some excellent articles, print and bind them, and put them on my desk at any time. This learning method can greatly save time and is worth recommending. China Youth Daily in our school is also a good learning resource. We can't read on time every day, but I ask students to take newspapers on time every day and put them neatly in the cupboard under the podium. Then choose a spare time every week and browse the newspapers of the last week by title, which not only broadens our horizons and enriches our knowledge, but also finds many valuable articles for students to read. Experience 2: The head teacher should not only have the enthusiasm of studying hard, but also have the habit of "stopping and looking back". We should reflect and summarize regularly, check success or failure, and make our work fruitful. The collective development of each class is rarely smooth sailing, and my classes are not always excellent. Once upon a time, when I was a senior one and a senior two, my classes were all math and science. At that time, due to lack of experience, there were some problems in academic performance and class management. That's because I tried two ways: the first way is to teach my subjects well, and I really don't care which troublesome students in the class. The second way, do a good job in class management, just relax the teaching work. Later, it was found that neither of these methods would work, because students would not forgive you for teaching well and teaching poorly, nor would they accommodate you for teaching well and teaching poorly. Therefore, the head teacher should not only do a good job in class management, but also master his own professional teaching. This reflective conclusion at that time laid the foundation for me to teach and manage classes easily today. Experience 3: The head teacher must have his own class management skills. My first skill is: the inspiration method of good environment. The so-called excellent environment refers to a good natural environment and human environment. The natural environment refers to the beautiful classroom environment, and the humanistic environment refers to the harmonious relationship between teachers and students and the relationship between students and students. If our classroom is warm and beautiful, attractive and can inspire students, but without harmonious interpersonal relationships, it is not enough to have a good environment. For example, if you live in a luxury villa, you will not be happy even if you face the enemy every day, so you need to create a good interpersonal relationship. Once this excellent comprehensive environment is successfully created, your class will attract students, and students will be willing to participate in this group and our education and teaching activities. And our students have to sit in the classroom 10 hours a day, so the classroom environment can greatly affect the state of students' listening. I have two requirements for the classroom environment: cleanliness, neatness, elegance and environmental protection. So I made a rule: from the first day of junior high school, I suggested not to bring snacks and drinks into the classroom. If you are hungry, you can buy some food outside the classroom and then go in. After changing classrooms in grade three, our class was on the second floor of Building B, and the light was not very good. There were some uncivilized graffiti on the walls of the classroom, so I organized students to repaint the walls inside the classroom, and the classroom suddenly felt brand-new. Since then, there have been no junk words on the walls, and students will consciously protect the environment. The second point of elegance and environmental protection mainly refers to the cultural layout of the classroom. The posting in our classroom is mainly green, because green has two functions, one is to calm down and the other is to relieve eye fatigue. Posting should not be too complicated, but it should have content. There are four main types of content posted in the classroom of our class: first, their target scores for the senior high school entrance examination, the total scores and rankings of all subjects; Second, they wrote the oath of the senior high school entrance examination themselves, and third, the exhibition of outstanding students' personal information, with the aim of setting an example; Fourth, the class learning garden is frequently changed, such as excellent model essays in Chinese, answers to exercises in mathematics and physics, etc. Inspired by such an environment, most students can concentrate on the class during class time. My second skill is to establish authority in the details. For example, the first evening self-study class in our class is all about homework, and I basically sit on the podium in this class. Sometimes they ask me homework questions about physics, chemistry, English, politics and history. Under normal circumstances, I will try. Of course, when I am not sure, I will ask them to consult the subject teacher again. I can do it right a lot of times. At this time, students will say: Wow! Teacher, you are amazing! I know everything! These little things have virtually established some prestige for the class teacher. In normal class management, students will think that the head teacher knows everything and knows more than they do! Therefore, I will not rebel against the class teacher casually. My third skill: assess the situation and do certain things in front of certain people in a certain period of time. At present, I am in Grade Three. As we all know, the teaching of graduation grade is the most important thing, so one of the things I do most this year is to guide students' learning methods. Every time I finish the exam, or when necessary, I will give guidance on learning methods in the whole class: First, it includes listening to lectures, taking notes, analyzing gains and losses, memorizing methods, and testing methods. At a certain stage of each subject; The second is to guide students to use their time scientifically. For example, how many minutes are there in a day's homework, how many subjects are there every day, and how much time does each subject take to complete on average; Listen to music and do some simple relaxation activities every morning and between classes. The third is to guide students to set the goal of the senior high school entrance examination in time and adjust it regularly. Pay attention to hierarchical guidance. There is no need to be too strict with problem students. We should give them a buffer time and set a bottom line so that they can stick to it. Teachers should remind, encourage and be tolerant in time, so that they will have something to do and will not affect others. But let the promising students know their goals clearly, be strict with themselves and leave others alone. The fourth is to guide students to learn how to manage their desks and drawers. Because there are a lot of books and materials for graduate students, and students are often not good at sorting out materials, their drawers and desks are always in a mess, which not only affects their appearance in class, but also affects their study. My suggestion is two points. First, schools can replace a number of desks with larger capacity for classes above grade two; Secondly, the class teacher should guide students to organize their books, materials, various school supplies and so on regularly. At the end of the new class in grade three and the beginning of the first round of review, I asked my classmates to slim down their desks and sort out some papers that were long ago and hardly needed in the future, and gave them to the aunts who cleaned the corridor. This kind of thing is not only what students are willing to do, but also very meaningful. These are just some simple understandings and feelings I have had since I worked as a class teacher. I hope it will be helpful to your work and life. That's all, thank you!
