8th grade English Volume II Teaching Plan Foreign Language Edition
This semester, I am an English teaching task for two classes in 8th grade. In order to successfully complete the task of English teaching in 8th grade (II), the teaching plan for this semester is formulated.
First, the student situation analysis:
I teach students in Class One and Class Two in 8th grade this semester. After a year and a half of English study in junior high school, most students have been able to understand paragraphs and short stories about familiar topics, and they are not as hard as before in memorizing words. However, students did not develop good study habits, did not preview before class, and did not review in time after class. At the same time, due to various factors, the development of students is unbalanced. Some students study hard and give up on themselves because their foundation is not good enough, and some disturb classroom discipline, which brings many difficulties to teaching.
As far as students are concerned, grade 8 students are in a critical period, whether from junior high school learning stage or physical and mental development stage. There are still many problems to be solved in students' emotional attitudes and learning strategies. For example, many students are not clear about the purpose of English learning; Students lack perseverance and retreat when encountering difficulties; Most students have not developed good study habits, and their study is not planned and strategic. Not good at discovering and summarizing language rules, thinking and learning have great inertia.
Second, the guiding ideology:
This semester, we insist on reading more and practicing more, reciting selectively, studying by ourselves early, and using recording more after class to improve students' pronunciation and intonation and let them appreciate the beauty of English reading. Secondly, strengthen the memory and consolidation of words, help students understand and remember skillfully in many ways, and let students apply what they have learned. Thirdly, strengthen the implementation, let students sort out notes and wrong questions, read frequently, and learn to review the past and learn new things. In addition, we should pay attention to the process evaluation, which should be timely and appropriate, encourage students to continue learning and promote the cultivation of autonomous learning ability. Finally, differentiated teaching, teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, and different students' goals are layered. Let every student make progress as much as possible.
Third, the content analysis of teaching materials:
This semester, 8th grade's second English textbook, Foreign Research Edition, was used. * * * There are 10 teaching modules and two review modules. Each module lists clear language objectives, main functional items, grammatical structures and basic vocabulary to be mastered, and is divided into three units. Unit 1 is the basic conversation content, and Unit2 is reading training, paving the way for writing. Unit3 is an extended comprehensive language application. Relatively speaking, it increases the application space of U3 language and improves the requirements for the implementation of knowledge points. The grammar points to be mastered this semester are: 1, the use of sensory verbs; 2. Understand and use the present perfect tense, and distinguish it from other tenses; 3. Composition of simple sentences; 4. Coordinate compound sentences; 5. Use of object clauses.
Fourth, specific measures:
1, delve into the teaching materials, adjust the classroom according to the actual situation of students, and strive to maximize the teaching effect.
2. Always pay attention to words, and dictation still adheres to the principle of "eat less and eat more meals". A module word is divided into several parts, one at a time, and then a general dictation is done after the module to strengthen students' ability to remember words. At the same time, play the role of group leader, check and strengthen the revision of each word.
3. Ask students to recite part of each module, and rely on modern educational technology to cultivate students emotionally by recording and computer. Develop teaching resources, broaden learning channels, cultivate students' good English language sense and humanistic background, and stimulate their enthusiasm for learning.
4. Communicate with students more, understand students' learning situation and needs, and improve the problems and deficiencies in teaching in time.
5. Actively carry out various English activities to solve students' problems and improve students' interest. Such as word dictation contest, reading contest, learning to sing English songs, English salon and other activities.
6, strengthen the inspection of students' notes and wrong questions, strengthen students' mastery of knowledge points, let students learn to learn, review the past and learn new things.
7. Differentiated teaching, with the basic goal of facing all students, "slimming" teaching materials and laying a solid foundation. Cultivate outstanding students to make up the difference, and raise requirements for students with good grades. Provide special counseling for students with learning difficulties, so that they can build up self-confidence and grow up at an early date in small progress.
8, continuous learning, strengthen their own quality, improve their business ability.
