How are American female soldiers tempered?
There is a lot to learn.

If you want to become a real American female soldier, you must first pass a nine-week basic training for recruits, and those who pass can enter the next stage. During the nine-week rigorous training, female soldiers must learn how to fight in a tense, fierce and cruel environment, how to improve their psychological endurance, the endurance of resisting seasickness during long-distance voyage, the coordination ability of all arms in synthetic operations, and the ability to respond quickly and continue to fight. Before the end of the training, female soldiers must master the training subjects such as combat skills, shooting techniques, individual soldiers and class (group) tactics.

In addition, they must also carry out necessary physical training and necessary adaptability training.

Nine weeks in hell

In the 9-week basic training, some subjects are practiced separately by men and women, but most of the training subjects are practiced jointly by men and women, but the training standards are different. Before basic training, male recruits must pass the test, that is, they can complete 1 3 pull-ups, 17 sit-ups within 1 minute and1mile within 8 and a half minutes. Female recruits must complete three pull-ups in 1 minute, 17 sit-ups, 10 minutes and a half, 1 mile. Only recruits who pass the above tests are eligible to participate in basic training.

In the process of basic training, the life of recruits is monotonous and unified. Their work and rest time is: get up at 4 am every day, then clean up the house, and no makeup or accessories are allowed. At 4: 30, take turns to send people to the canteen every day to help cook for one day. Do morning exercises at 4: 45 from Monday to Saturday; Run 2 miles at least three times a week; At 5: 30, put on your military uniform and prepare for military training. Go to the armory at 6 o'clock to get the equipment, that is, an m 16a2. At 6: 30, take a bus or walk to the training camp and start a day's training. 7 o'clock, breakfast time. At 8 o'clock, shooting training is carried out. The recruits must hit at least 6 of the 27 bullets with a diameter of 4 cm. 12 noon is lunch time; 13, continue shooting training until all recruits meet the minimum standards of shooting subjects. 17 points, return to the place of residence; 17: 30 weapons warehousing; 18 is dinner time; 18: 30, the sergeant commented on the performance of the recruits on that day; 19, and instill in all recruits the good ideological quality and values that must be possessed as a qualified American soldier. Free time starts at 8 o'clock and lights out at 9 o'clock.

Before the end of the 9-week basic training period, recruits must pass the following tests. Male soldiers: 17 pull-ups, 1 minute 35 sit-ups, 16 minutes 36 seconds 2 miles. Female soldier: 13 pull-ups, 1 minute 47 sit-ups, 19 minutes 42 seconds 2 miles.

Another more difficult stage is to finish the exam. The examination items include: completing 7 armed cross-country runs with a length of 10 km within 9 weeks; Throwing live grenades twice; Use chemical protective equipment to stay in the chemical fog for 2 minutes, and then stay in the chemical fog without any protection 1 minute. Knock down the gun target at least 23 times with 40 bullets at a distance of 50 to 300 meters. In addition, you must pass the unarmed combat training on the battlefield. More importantly, the most cruel three-day and two-night field survival training must pass through the simulated battlefield and reach the designated goal smoothly.

Barracks don't need tears

Let's take a look at a US military training base in North Carolina and listen to the feelings of female soldiers who have experienced it personally.

After entering the camp, the first thing I heard was the shouts of the training examiner: "Keep your head down, do you hear? Are you an idiot?"

When the female soldiers arrived at this camp, they were not greeted by flowers and coffee, but by the beginning of suffering. The examiners there kept attacking female soldiers and even swearing, but they had no choice but to obey and endure.

Dover is one of them. Once, three examiners shouted at her at the same time, and Dover's tears immediately welled up in her eyes, but the examiners responded to her tears with louder reprimands. An examiner shouted, "Take back your tears, there is no need for them here."

Decades of training career, trained the examiner's heart of stone. For them, their only task is to train ordinary people into qualified soldiers.

As the military camp examiner Walker said, "We don't want the recruits to be filled with fear and hatred. Maybe they will hate us at first, but in the end they will understand that we are doing it for their own good. We must make them feel the pressure. Only in this way can they adapt to the cruelty of war and know how to face all the difficulties encountered on the battlefield. "

But not everyone can stand all this, and some people will shrink back and be ruthlessly eliminated.

There is no choice but to endure.

In basic training, female soldiers must learn the spirit of teamwork, otherwise, it is difficult for them to pass the basic training stage. Because teamwork is the best way to reduce the casualty rate on the battlefield, if a recruit is punished, the whole team will be punished.

After 10 days of basic training, female soldiers generally feel that their body and mind are close to the endurance limit. A female soldier said afterwards: "Everything here at that time made me just want to cry. I really wanted to give up, because I thought I couldn't stand it, but I didn't give up in the end, because I didn't want to be one of the eliminated people. "

After about three weeks of physical training, female soldiers began to train battlefield skills, which is another major test of their physical and mental limits. They must learn how to fight in the next time, including using guns, throwing grenades with live ammunition and unarmed combat.

Learning to shoot is not an easy task. Female soldiers often practice limb weakness, even simple bed movements will make them sweat. In the practice of throwing grenades with live ammunition, they must throw the grenades at least 35 meters away to ensure that they are not injured.

The biggest test of female soldiers' will and physical strength is armed cross-country. The total weight of an ordinary weapon and equipment of the US military is about 40 pounds, which does not include chemical defense equipment. Therefore, armed to the teeth to run 10 km, no one is interesting. In addition, female soldiers must also carry out two night combat training, and those who fail will not be able to pass the basic training.

While receiving military training, female soldiers also received values education. Instructors instilled some traditional concepts of the US military into them: First, loyalty: American soldiers must be loyal to the US Constitution and the US military, and soldiers must treat others sincerely; Second, respect: American soldiers must learn to respect their superiors and colleagues; Third, dedication: American soldiers must strive to contribute to the army; Fourth, selflessness: American soldiers must put the interests of the country and the army above personal interests; Fifth, sense of honor: American soldiers must have a strong sense of personal honor; Sixth, a correct view of right and wrong: American soldiers must know what is right and wrong and defend social ethics; Seventh, courage: American soldiers must not be afraid of bloodshed.

After completing all the training subjects, these female soldiers will be officially refined into an American soldier. They will be sent to military camps all over the country to continue their advanced training stage and choose different services and development directions.
