? However, I don't think so. As a medical student who is interested in physics, as a sophomore, I am dragged by my family to instill some theories of Chinese medicine at home every day, and I am deeply impressed by some principles of Chinese medicine. I want to put forward some simple views here.
? I think this theory is nonsense.
? Let me briefly introduce the "quantum entanglement theory". This is a phenomenon in quantum mechanics, which is related to the wave-particle duality of matter particles. Simply put, two particles can interact with each other. When a particle is manipulated, the state of the corresponding other particle will change immediately. Einstein called it "ghostly telepathy".
? After reading the original paper and looking up some information, I summarized the general structure of the paper: the article first said the folk saying that "mother and son are connected, and brothers are connected", and then cited two pairs of twins as examples of telepathy. Then it introduces quantum entanglement, and gives two examples of studying quantum entanglement in China and Israel. Then the quantum entanglement theory is connected with "mother-child connection" and TCM clinic respectively. Finally, the experimental data of a 15 patient is recorded, and it is concluded that parents or their siblings can treat their children's diseases through acupuncture. Based on this structure, I will elaborate my views from two aspects. (This article has no intention to deny any views, but only expresses the author's own preferred views. )
? In the first aspect, this paper is suspected of forcibly connecting things when discussing. First, there is no data to show that there is "quantum entanglement" between immediate family members or people related by blood. After this paper puts forward the two, I think they are related subjectively. Secondly, the paper also thinks that some clinical phenomena of traditional Chinese medicine, such as five internal organs and five bodies, exterior and interior, spleen and so on, are consistent with the quantum entanglement theory. Whether the microscopic aspect is due to quantum entanglement or not, both western medicine and Chinese medicine have their own macro explanations about the relationship between these organs and physical conditions. For example, eating greasy and spicy food usually leads to excessive oil secretion, leading to acne on the face, jaundice in the liver and gallbladder, yellow eyes and so on. There is no need to explain it with quantum entanglement theory, which has not been widely used. So far, there is no data showing this relationship. Moreover, there is no direct and powerful evidence in the paper to prove that it is indeed related. I feel that I hit a telephone pole while walking on the road, but I don't feel that the traffic lights ten kilometers away are flashing my eyes. This is also like pointing to a cloud in the sky and saying that it is shaped like an elephant, and it is concluded that the cloud has an inevitable connection with the elephant. Since then, parents' conclusions about acupuncture are based on their two subjective beliefs, which shows that the "foundation" of this theory is not stable at all.
? In the second aspect, the examples used in this paper are all individual cases, which can't summarize the general facts at all: First, "mother and child are connected" is a folk saying. In this paper, two pairs of twins are taken as examples, so this folk saying is regarded as an objective natural law. If this statement is really an objective law, then why do many people say that they suddenly find their parents old, suddenly realize their parents' difficulties, or suddenly receive the news of their loved ones' accidents and are at a loss? Second, at the end of the discussion, a record of experimental data was given, saying that 15 patients and their relatives corresponding to acupuncture were all valid, and the conclusion was … I have a population of over one billion in China, but would fifteen be very convincing? The author of this paper also applied statistics to the extreme. As all the partners who have studied statistics know, the more times the experiment is repeated, the closer the corresponding correlation probability will be to the probability. To put it bluntly, the more experiments, or more examples, the more convincing the conclusion and the closer it is to the objective facts. Moreover, the process of this experiment itself is accidental, and the condition of fifteen patients is not clearly given. If I find dozens of children with colds and start writing this article, and all the children with colds recover within two weeks after writing the article, then I can say that I can make quantum entanglement with the children with colds when writing the article and cure the children with colds?
? To sum up, so I don't agree with the theory that children are sick and acupuncture their parents. This theory is not supported by accurate scientific basis, and it also reflects that some people will talk too much about bad habits for papers. The author believes that scholars' attitude towards scientific research should be scientific and rigorous, and they should also be conscientious on their way to study, otherwise they are no different from the folk "health masters" who eat people indiscriminately. Especially in medical care, it doesn't matter if you say it yourself, but patients who don't know the truth and are eager to cure have lost money and their hopes have been dashed. They are the biggest victims.
