Feeding method of free-range pig
When raising free-range pigs, we should choose piglets with excellent varieties, high survival rate and strong disease resistance, and carry out free-range breeding in relatively remote places with rich forage grass and flat terrain, and vaccinate piglets according to epidemic prevention regulations to avoid infection. When feeding pigs, you can provide them with vegetable leaves, bean cakes, sweet potato vines and other feeds.

How to Cultivate Free-range Pig 1 and Variety Selection

When raising free-range pigs, we should choose high-quality pig breeds with fast growth speed, high survival rate and strong disease resistance, such as Sanyuan pig, Landrace pig, Black pig, etc. When the environmental temperature is lower than 10, we should drive the piglets into pens and keep the pigpen temperature at about 25 degrees to avoid freezing to death.

2. Free-range position

When raising pigs, you should choose a suitable place, preferably a remote place far away from residential areas. In addition, the farm should also plant ryegrass, oat grass, alfalfa grass and other grasses, and build simple pig houses on the edge of the farm to facilitate the management of piglets and sick pigs.

3. Pig house vaccine

When pigs are scattered, if pigs get sick, it will cause a large area of infection. Check the physical condition of pigs every night, and give them vaccines and medicines according to epidemic prevention regulations to avoid infection. In addition, a pool with diluted and disinfected water should be placed in the farm to facilitate pigs to take a bath.

4. Feeding management

When raising pigs, feed them at noon every day to avoid weight loss due to lack of food. Pigs can be fed with sweet potato vines, wheat, sorghum stalks, bean cakes, vegetable leaves and other foods, and salt bricks should be installed in the farm to facilitate the pigs to lick and supplement salt.
