"Laozi" Several emperors in the early Han Dynasty advocated "opposing the disadvantages of Qin Dynasty and sharing the interest with the people". Since the reunification of Emperor Gaozu Liu Bang, he has experienced scenes of filial piety, nobility and culture, during which many officials did nothing.
The so-called "inaction" does not mean doing nothing.
There are two principles of inaction: on the one hand, it is "keeping without losing", that is, under normal circumstances, the system formulated by Liu Bang and Xiao He in the early Han Dynasty will not change greatly; On the other hand, it is class governance, which interferes with people's production and life as little as possible within the permitted scope.
The main contents of the early Han Dynasty are:
First, attach importance to agriculture and curb business, and resume and develop production. Vigorously advocate agriculture-oriented.
Second, frivolous and generous, and have fun with the people. Abolish Qin's harsh laws, save punishment, ban the internet and spread it widely, and govern the people cleanly and loosely to reassure the people.
Third, cancel the tolls of checkpoints and bridges, and open mountains and rivers for people to make full use of.
Fourth, the fields of salt boiling and iron smelting are fully open, and even copper mines and coins are open to private individuals.
Fifth, we should adopt the idea of combining rigidity with softness and using static braking in dealing with princes. Therefore, even if the princes grew up in the early Han Dynasty, the court was not in a hurry to cut the princes, and then the "Seven Kingdoms Rebellion" was carved out by the root of Jingdi in three months. (Later, Emperor Wen Jian of the Ming Dynasty also had this mentality, so he wouldn't be so unlucky. )
Laozi thinks: I do nothing, while the people are self-motivated, I am quiet, while the people are self-righteous, I do nothing, while the people are rich, I have nothing to do, and the people are simple. In the early Han Dynasty, inaction, lenient punishment and simple administration made the social and economic development recover rapidly. When it comes to Wenjing, there is more rotten food than food, and there is no place to put more copper coins. 10 More than a dollar was spent on fireworks and Wan Li, which was a pleasure.
"History of Food in Han Dynasty" records that if the country dies, unless there is a flood and drought disaster, the people will feed their families and eat, while the remaining wealth in the national treasury and the money in the capital city will be exhausted and cannot be taught. The millet and Chen Xiang undertakings in Taicang are overflowing and exposed, and they are corrupt and inedible.
Liu Che, the grandmother of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, was also the last ruler in the history of the Han Dynasty who pursued the "Huang Lao Thought". It was not until the sixth year of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty that Dou Taihou and Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty began to promote the Confucian "promising governance".
