Tieguanyin, like other teas, should consider the following measures when storing:
First, avoid light. Avoid sunlight and keep it in a cool place. All tea leaves are afraid of the sun.
Second, the temperature, green tea, fragrant Tieguanyin and lightly baked tea need to be refrigerated; Black tea, roasted oolong tea and Pu 'er tea can all be sealed at room temperature.
Third, moisture-proof, high water content of tea will lead to deterioration of tea, and sealing can better solve the problem of moisture-proof.
Fourth, to prevent odor pollution, tea is easy to absorb the taste and deteriorate.
Specific storage methods of tea:
According to the characteristics of tea and the causes of tea deterioration, theoretically speaking, dry storage (water content below 6%, preferably 3%-4%), cold storage (preferably zero degrees Celsius), oxygen-free storage (vacuumizing or filling nitrogen) and dark storage are the most ideal. However, due to various objective conditions, these two conditions are often not available at the same time. Therefore, in the specific operation process, we can grasp the necessary requirements of tea drying, according to our existing conditions, try to delay the aging process of tea, and then take some other measures. The method of storing tea in teahouse can be used for family reference.
1, food bag sealed refrigeration method, is the most commonly used method of tea storage in the family.
First, wrap the tea with clean and odorless white paper, then wrap it with a piece of kraft paper, then put it into a seamless plastic food bag, gently squeeze the air out of the bag, then tie the bag mouth with a soft rope, take a plastic food bag, put it outside the first bag, gently squeeze it, squeeze the air out of the bag into the bag tied with a rope, and finally put it into a dry and odorless closed iron drum. Then keep the storage environment of tea below 5 degrees Celsius, that is, use cold storage or freezer to store tea. When using this method, we should pay attention to: if the storage period is less than six months, it is most economical and effective to keep the refrigeration temperature at 0 ~ 5 degrees Celsius; If the storage period exceeds half a year, it is best to freeze (-10 to-18 degrees Celsius). It is best to store it in a special cold storage (freezing) warehouse. If it must be refrigerated (frozen) with other foods, tea leaves should be packaged and completely sealed to avoid absorbing odor. The air circulation in the cold storage (freezing) is good and the cooling effect is achieved. When buying a large amount of tea at a time, you should first pack it in a small bag (can) and put it in a cold storage (freezing), and take out the required amount of brewing each time. The same bag of tea should not be frozen and thawed repeatedly. When the tea leaves are taken out of the cold storage (freezing), the temperature of the tea leaves in the teapot should be raised to near room temperature before the tea leaves can be taken out. If the teapot is suddenly opened, the tea leaves will easily condense water, and the water content will increase, which will accelerate the deterioration of unfinished tea leaves.
2, thermos storage method
Choose a thermos bottle with good warmth retention as a container. Put dry tea leaves in bottles and fill them to minimize air retention. Cover the bottle mouth tightly with a cork, seal the brim with white wax, and then wrap it with tape. Because there is little air in the bottle and the temperature is stable, this method is also effective and simple.
3. Storage method of ceramic lime tank
Choose a dry, odorless and sealed ceramic jar, wrap the tea leaves with kraft paper, put it around the jar, put a lime bag in the middle, put the tea bag on it, and wrap it tightly with cotton after filling the jar. Lime should be replaced every 1-2 months. This method makes use of the hygroscopicity of quicklime to protect tea from moisture, with good effect, and can maintain the quality of tea for a long time, especially for some precious tea such as Longjing and Dahongpao. This method is particularly suitable.
4, tin cans sealed storage method
The container is tinplate double-cover colored tea sold in the market. Before storage, check whether the tank body and the tank cover are sealed and airtight. When stored, dry tea leaves should be canned and the cans should be tightly packed. This method is convenient to use, but it is not suitable for long-term preservation.
5. Storage method of sealed charcoal in crock,
Use charcoal to absorb moisture to store tea. First burn the charcoal, immediately put it out with a brazier or an iron pot cover, dry it, wrap it in a clean cloth, and put it in the middle of a crock to make tea. The charcoal in the cylinder should be replaced in time according to the situation in Hu Chao.
