Beibei District has rich and unique natural and cultural tourism resources. Its "mountains, rivers, hot springs and canyons, waterfalls and exotic flowers and grasses show the characteristics of quietness, danger, masculinity and strangeness of Bashan and Shushu." There are 2 national 4A-level scenic spots, 3-level national scenic spots 1, 2-level national scenic spots 1 and 4 cultural relics 104, including 24 provincial and municipal cultural relics protection units. It has formed mature tourist routes, such as the ecological health-preserving tourist routes dominated by Jinyun Mountain and northern hot springs, the ecological agricultural tourist routes dominated by beautiful countryside Carnival, and the natural ecological tourist routes dominated by Jindaoxia, Pianyan Ancient Town and Shengtian Lake.

Natural landscape

Jinyun Mountain

Jinyun Mountain is located in the west bank of Wentang Gorge of Jialing River Three Gorges in Beibei District, 35km away from the center of Chongqing, with an area of 7,600 hectares and an altitude of 200-952.5m.. Jinyun Mountain Nature Reserve was established in1979,2001upgraded to a national nature reserve, and was established in 1985.

Jinyun Mountain is surrounded by vast forests, towering peaks and green Jiu Feng, and is known as "Little Emei in East Sichuan". Jinyun Mountain has Jinyun Temple, which was built in the first year of Jingping in Liu Song in the Southern Dynasties (AD 423). There are ancient stone carvings such as Zhaobi in the late Tang Dynasty, memorial archway in the Song Dynasty and Naga Cave in the Qing Dynasty. Golden knife gap

Motan waterfall

Pianyan Ancient Town

Tapinxi

Taping Temple is located in Taping Village, Jingguan Town, Beibei District. Founded in the Song Dynasty, it was originally named Xiao Kunlun Ancient Tibetan Temple. After reconstruction in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty, it was renamed Taping Temple, and 1986 was listed as a provincial cultural relics protection unit in Sichuan.

Tankou arch

Tankou archway was built in the 13th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty. It is a filial piety workshop integrating chastity and filial piety. The arch faces north, imitating a wooden pavilion and made of blue stone carvings. Because of its exquisite architecture and unique shape, it is known as "the first archway in East Sichuan".

Shaolongguan

Shao Long Temple is located in Jinyun Mountain, Beibei District, adjacent to Jianhu Lake, the largest relief lake in southwest China, and backed by Xiangyun Cuifeng. It is the largest orthodox Taoist temple in southwest China, and its "Taoist family banquet", "Taoist tea" and "Taoist wine" are the three wonders of Jinyun.

Fudan university front campus

The former site of Fudan University is located in Xiaba, Dongyang Town, Beibei District. The building is a brick-wood structure with one floor and one bottom, with a building in the middle and bungalows on both sides, covering an area of 605 square meters. It faces Beibei City across the river and is 8 kilometers away from Beibei City. In February 2009, 65438 was announced by Chongqing Municipal People's Government as a municipal key cultural relics protection unit.

Liang Shiqiu Memorial Hall (Yashe)

Liang Shiqiu, writer,1moved to Beibei with the Ministry of Education of the National Government in April, 939. 1940 and sociologist Wu Jingchao bought a bungalow in the main bay and named it "Yashe". Elegant room, brick column wooden frame, tile roof with wall, 6 rooms, divided into two floors, Liang Shiqiu lives in one room and one living room. Now it is a district-level cultural relics protection unit.

Zuofuyuan (Beibei Park)

Zuofuyuan, also known as Beibei Park, is located in the center of Beibei District. It belongs to urban parks and cultural scenic spots. Beibei Park is an urban mountain park, covering an area of 6.5438+0.3 million square meters. Located at the commanding heights in the center of Beibei District, overlooking the mountain, water, gorge and urban landscape of Beibei, such as Jinyun Mountain, Wentang Gorge of Jialing River and Guanyin Gorge. Beibei Park was established in 1930, 10, 12 10. Formerly known as Beibei Flame Mountain Park,/kloc-0 was renamed Beibei Civilian Park in April, 1936. 1950 was renamed Beibei Park.

Zhang Zizhong martyr cemetery

Zhang Zizhong Martyrs Cemetery is located in Meihua Mountain, Beibei District. It is the tomb of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's national hero General Zhang Zizhong. It is a historical, cultural and humanistic scenic spot and a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit.

After the heroic sacrifice of General Zhang Zizhong in the anti-Japanese front, his loyal bones arrived in Beibei and were buried at the foot of Yutai Mountain. The cemetery covers an area of 3,267 square meters. The mausoleum is built on the hill, facing south. The tomb is surrounded by stones and topped by a bluestone arch, forming a fully enclosed semi-circular arc. The tomb is 2.64 meters high and 2 1 meter in circumference. After the founding of New China, the government maintained and expanded the cemetery, twice expanding the area to 2,800 square meters, and built the Zhang Zizhong Martyrs Exhibition Hall and General Zhang Zizhong Memorial Hall respectively. A large number of objects and pictures are displayed in the museum, which comprehensively and systematically introduces the heroic deeds of General Zhang Zizhong.
