How to deal with granite rust spots?
To treat diseases, we must first understand the causes of diseases, and then we can prescribe the right medicine. Generally, the cause of rust spots on stone materials is that iron (Fe) in stone materials or environment reacts with water (H2O) and oxygen (O2) to produce rust spots on the surface of stone materials.

Governance process

1, finished product protection: use plastic film (or protective film) to cover and protect the construction area and surrounding articles, and pay special attention to the fact that the treated chemicals and cleaning sewage cannot flow into flowers and plants, otherwise it will cause environmental pollution. In addition, two or three buckets are prepared on site, and each bucket is filled with half a bucket of clear water for standby.

2. Blocking: the main pollution source of disease is isolated from the stone to prevent recurrence during and after treatment.

3. Cleaning stone: Clean the stone surface by dry cleaning and dry it.

4. Removal and protection: according to the solvent type of stone protective agent, select the corresponding chemical agent to remove the protective effect of stone. (If it has been protected, DEC 2 1 can be used to remove the protection of the stone surface, which is beneficial to the treatment of drug penetration. )

5, the right medicine: use brushes, wool heads, rollers and other tools. Brush chemicals on the rust spots on the stone surface.

(1) Clean the rust spots with granite rust remover (2-3 times).

(2) Wash the residue with strong oxidizing detergent (2-3 times).

(3) Use universal detergent to clean the residue again (2-3 times) until the rust spots on the stone surface are cleaned.

(4) After each coating, cover it with white cotton cloth or non-woven fabric, and moisturize it with medicine (it cannot flow).

(5) Cover the plastic film and flatten it with a roller.

(6) After each painting, you should wait for 2 hours to uncover the corner and check the rust spots on the stone. If all rust spots are removed, remove the covering and soak it in a bucket prepared in advance; If the rust spots are not cleaned, repeat this step "suit the remedy to the case" until the rust spots are thoroughly cleaned.

6. Remove the liquid medicine: spray clear water on the stone surface with a watering can to remove the residual liquid medicine. Repeat this step 3-4 times until the surface is neutral (tested with PH test paper). Then blow dry with a hair dryer.

7. Anti-oxidation treatment: Brush the antioxidant on the stone surface with wool head and dry it to prevent iron oxidation.

8. Protective treatment: Brush the composite nano-siloxane protective agent (or stone-penetrating protective agent) of Jiangsu Tianjie Dimei Company and maintain it for 48 hours at room temperature. Every time the temperature drops by 65438 00℃, the curing time is prolonged by 2-4 times. This can prevent water from infiltrating into the stone, thus causing rust spots again.

9. Clear the field: remove the finished products for protection and properly handle the construction waste.

10, notes:

(1) Do not construct in high temperature, direct sunlight, rainy and other natural environments.

(2) According to the site environment, protect the construction in sections, and pay attention to the weather conditions at any time.
