What do you mean, no feet?
Non-foot is a Chinese word, which originally refers to limbs other than normal parts of the human body, such as monkeys' hands and feet, birds' wings and so on. Later, this word was extended to describe the characteristics of things or people that are very prominent and different. For example, our common words "unconventional" and "extraordinary" can all be classified as "insufficient" usage.

As a word in Chinese, "non-foot" is an ancient usage, which has not been used very often in recent years. However, in some idioms and proverbs, you can still see the trace of this word. For example, "neither donkey nor horse" nor "neither fish nor meat" all use the meaning of "not feet" to describe something or people that are different and difficult to classify.

In modern Chinese, we often use common words such as "unconventional" and "unusual", but the usage of non-foot has been gradually eliminated. Of course, in some classical novels or poems, we can still see the word "insufficient", but most people need a dictionary to understand its meaning and usage. Generally speaking, "not enough" is an ancient and special usage, which is not suitable for daily life.
