To strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness, recommend a classic dietotherapy prescription.
However, it is not enough to eat Euryale ferox, because Euryale ferox itself is not very effective in removing dampness, and it needs to be matched with other ingredients with more obvious dehumidification effect, such as coix seed and adzuki bean.
In Compendium of Materia Medica, there is a prescription for invigorating the spleen and eliminating dampness, which is called adzuki bean and coix seed tea, and it is made up of seven ingredients, including adzuki bean, coix seed, euryales seed, purslane, bamboo leaves, Sophora japonica and green tea. Both adzuki bean and coix seed are ingredients for eliminating dampness, reducing swelling and promoting diuresis. Euryale ferox is mainly used for strengthening the spleen and kidney, and purslane is mainly used for acne caused by heavy moisture.
