It is the main reason why the rulers in the early Han dynasty adopted the policy of rest and recuperation. It shows that the rulers in the early Han Dynasty reflected on the rapid demise of Qiang Qin and realized that tyranny, abuse of power and severe punishment were the reasons for people's rebellion. Therefore, after the war, we should learn from the historical lessons of the demise of the Qin Dynasty, lenient punishment and thin taxes, cultivate people's strength, and take measures to restore economic development to stabilize the rule. This is the basic point of the rest policy. It shows that it should be based on historical facts, emphasizing that the rulers in the early Han Dynasty could listen to Lu Jia's opinions truthfully and adopt the correct policy of governing the country. After decades of efforts by Emperor Gaozu, Hui Di, Lv Hou, Wendi and Jingdi, the rulers in the early Han Dynasty achieved the goal of restoring the economy and stabilizing their rule. The key to economic recovery is to attach importance to agricultural production. The agriculture mentioned by Emperor Jing of Han Dynasty is a fundamental exposition and understanding of the world.

The result of the rest and recuperation policy is "enriching the country and strengthening the people", and "the rule of Wen Jing" has emerged.

A stable situation in power. The specific measures of various recuperation policies should guide students to draw clauses in textbooks and require them to master them. Emperor gaozu took four measures:

(1) When soldiers are demobilized, they are exempted from corvee for several years;

(2) Let people who fled abroad in wartime return to their hometowns and return them to their farms;

(3) release handmaiden as civilians;

(4) set the land rent at fifteen taxes. Emperor Wendi proposed two improvement measures:

(a) to further reduce taxes and corvee, rent-free for 12 years;

(2) The corvee shall be punished once every three years, the punishment shall be mitigated and corporal punishment shall be abolished. During the reign of Emperor Jing of Han Dynasty, the land rent was set at 30 tax, which further reduced the punishment.
