Teacher, please advise.
Amitabha! Hello, senior! I am not a teacher, just an ordinary Buddhist disciple. I don't know how to give advice I want to exchange some Buddhist experience with my senior brother. It would be a great honor if I could help my senior.

Brother, first of all, we need to know what the Japanese and China diets are for in Buddhism. In fact, there are many reasons why Buddhist disciples eat a meal a day. We know that we must let go of all kinds of greed in practice, including greed for our own body, greed for all kinds of realms, greed for everything we think, do and know. The color, acceptance, thinking, behavior and knowledge of the five elements are the wheels we turn and the foundation of life and death. If we really want to get rid of all the reincarnation of life and death, we must get rid of the greed for the illusory five aggregates.

Eating once a day can reduce our greed for food. At the same time, reducing food intake to a certain extent can also help us stay away from drowsiness and slack. If you eat too much food, sleep and relaxation disorders will increase. In addition, the monks in the Buddha's era are all aiming at getting out of the world and getting rid of life and death, and spare no time to practice. They have to beg for three meals a day, which will delay a lot of time and bring a lot of inconvenience to Tan Yueren. The Buddha was merciful, so he made a rule of one meal a day. In fact, the Buddha also has some truth for sick monks.

Besides, brother. There are all kinds of health preserving methods in the world, which can help us live longer. But I want to say that life expectancy is not cultivated. Life is planted! In other words, you must plant a long-lived career to get the fruits of longevity. It is not certain whether longevity fruit can be raised well. The reason for longevity and disease-free is that probiotics are not fatal. Without this reason, I'd love to! For example, there are several people around me who pay great attention to health preservation and are good at health preservation. They devoted themselves to this cause, offering courses and explaining health knowledge everywhere, but several of them died at a young age. One of them, who just died last year, is only in his early forties. The whole person collapsed before he died. He doesn't know that Buddhism doesn't teach us to be greedy, but he doesn't know that everything is impermanent and will never happen! I don't know that the Tao is impermanent, I don't know that the Tao has no self, and I don't know that there is an immortal nirvana quiet realm, so I have infinite fear and nostalgia at the end of my life.

The Buddha taught us that to practice Buddhism and get immortal bodhi fruit, we cannot rely on all things and realms of birth and death. See through them and face their fate.

Many ideas in our world are very limited. For example, vegetarianism is unacceptable to many people, who think that unbalanced nutrition is harmful to their health. In essence, many vegetarians have realized the endless benefits, and vegetarianism is good for health. My mother never eats all kinds of meat all her life. She is eighty-three years old now, but she is light-footed, quick-thinking and healthy. I have been a vegetarian for more than four years and haven't eaten dinner for three years. Not only does the body have no symptoms of discomfort, on the contrary, it is much more comfortable than before. But I usually drink some porridge in the morning, and sometimes I don't drink it when I'm busy. I don't feel hungry either. My weight has always been stable, and I don't lose or gain.

In fact, senior, the daily diet of Buddhism, including many other commandments, is to help us practice, not to help us. Real practice requires inner hard work. In other words, the solar eclipse between China and Japan is not an end, but a means to help us practice.

Brother, if you want to learn Buddhism, you must first understand the basic aspects of Buddhism. Such as the law of cause and effect, such as the law of cause and effect, such as selflessness and so on. These are not only the basis of Buddhism, but also extremely important. If you don't understand this, even if you have studied Buddhism all your life, I'm afraid it's hard to get into Buddhism. For example, diseases such as cholecystitis and gallstones, although also related to the present karma, have matured and accelerated to become karma. But if there is no reason, there will be no result. In other words, if we hadn't planted the cause in the past, even if we didn't eat breakfast and didn't incorporate it scientifically, we wouldn't get such a disease. For example, we scatter seeds in flowerpots, and then with the help of hard watering, fertilization, sun bathing, breeze blowing and so on, we can grow seedlings we hope and flowers we expect. If there are no seeds in the pot, no matter how carefully we care for them, I'm afraid it's useless. Most of us are now trapped in the theory of no cause, do not know the laws of all causal operations, blindly covet all help, hope to get the desired result, but do not know the reasons. This is a very sad and helpless thing!

We have an online group studying Buddhism, and we will study Buddhism for two hours every night from seven to nine. You can write to me privately if you are interested, and I can tell you the number. Grateful brother!
