There are 9 4A-level scenic spots in Beihai, namely: Yintan National Tourism Resort, Weizhou Island Crocodile Mountain Scenic Area, Beihai Ancient Town Scenic Area, Jinhaiwan Mangrove Eco-tourism Area, Beihai Garden Expo Park, Beihai Hanlu Cultural Park, Underwater World, Window of the Ocean and Jiahe Guanshan Sea.
In addition, there are 8 3A-level scenic spots, as well as a number of tourist attractions such as Xingdao Lake Tourist Resort, "Xanadu" Xieyang Island, Guantouling National Forest Park, Yamaguchi National Mangrove Nature Reserve and Dugong (Mermaid) National Nature Reserve. ?
Beihai Xingdao Lake Tourist Area is an inland lake tourist resort developed by Hongchaohe Reservoir, with a total surface area of 6,660 hectares. In the lake 1026 islands are densely covered on the water like stars, hence the name Star Island Lake.
Beihai is an important starting port of the ancient Maritime Silk Road, a national historical and cultural city, and an important constituent city of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone.
