translate

Walking on the road to the south of the city, the closer you get, the more you dare not let go and move forward; Because when I arrived at the hospital, my heart was full of thoughts, which made me even more sad. After many years, plum blossoms are still in bloom, and the fragrance is on the sleeves of tourists; The chic bridge still stands quietly in the green water, the scenery is still the same as before, but people are gone!

Creation background

In the first year of Song Ningzong (1205), Lu You was 81 years old. On the second day of December this year, Lu You dreamed that he came to the south of Shenyang Garden. Approaching Shenyang Garden, he wanted to go, but he was afraid to go, for fear that everything there would make him sad. But he still walked step by step to Shenyuan, where he saw things, thought of people and finally walked into Shenjiayuan. The garden is a scene of winter leaving and spring coming. Plum blossoms are in full bloom and the fragrance is fragrant. The shore willows are green, and the water in the pool has risen. Jade bone, the beauty he missed, died young, leaving only the stained ink stains eroded by the wind and dust between the walls. The contrast between the new and the old, glory and dryness in the dream left a complex and colorful projection in Lu You's mind. When he woke up from his dream, he recalled his dream and wrote this group of poems.

Make an appreciative comment

In the poem, the scenery remains the same, and things are different.

"The small stranger in the south of the city meets spring again, and only plum blossoms are not seen." Written in the south lane of Shenyuan, spring is coming again, plum blossoms are still in full bloom, but there are no relatives who meet here. Birds of a feather flock together, people flock together, and beautiful scenery brings sadness.

"jade bone has been a spring for a long time, and ink marks are still dust between walls." This is from the side, not to say that the poet's feelings for Tang Wan have remained unchanged for a long time, but that Tang Wan has turned into underground loess, and the ink of the "hairpin wind" written on the wall that year has also been dusty. Emotion is beyond words, and the poet will never forget the image of Tang Wan and the inscription of Feng.
