It is found that the pressure on the cartilage surface of patella when climbing stairs is 3-5 times that when walking on the flat ground. Among outpatients, many middle-aged and elderly female patients are used to squatting on the ground to mop the floor and choose vegetables. Some patients have developed the habit of climbing stairs every day and Xiangshan every week based on health care considerations. Although these exercises can exercise and improve cardiopulmonary function, they accelerate the degeneration of knee joint.
