Heaven and earth are ruthless, and everything is a grass dog; Saints are ruthless and treat people like pigs.
Between heaven and earth, or tuó and yuè? Virtual and unyielding, moving and escaping.
It is better to stay in the middle than to talk too much and calculate too little.
Translation:
There is no benevolence between heaven and earth, because everything has become a dog made of grass without soul, shaped like a body. The sage can't find benevolence because all people have become soulless grass dogs. But heaven and earth are indifferent and selfish, and treat everything equally.

Tao Te Ching is a philosophical work of Lao Zi (Li Er) in the Spring and Autumn Period, also known as Tao Te Ching, Lao Zi's Five Thousand Words and Lao Zi's Five Thousand Articles.
