Xishi Temple is located in the west of Zhuji Chengguan, surrounded by Shahe River on the left and Zhuluo Mountain on the right. In ancient times, it was called Huansha Temple, dedicated to Xi Shi. Legend has it that a long time ago, there was a memorial building on Luolan Mountain in Chengguan Town, which had begun to take shape in the Tang Dynasty and continued until the Song and Yuan Dynasties, and it was not abolished. In the fifth year of Chongzhen in Ming Dynasty (1632), Zhang Yang, Zhuji County was rebuilt and renamed Xizi Temple. During the reign of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty and Xianfeng in the Republic of China 18 (1929), it was renovated and renamed Xishitang.
Xizi Temple has been repeatedly destroyed and restored. In the 22nd year of Daoguang (1842), Chen donated money to rebuild it. Xianfeng eleven years (186 1 year) was destroyed by war. During Guangxu period (1875- 1908), villagers raised funds to rebuild and built three buildings, while the rest were abandoned. In the early years of the Republic of China, the time was short and the moss was blurred. In the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929), Chen and others raised funds to rebuild. There are three main halls, and the temple is high and open. The front door is written with the words "Xizi Temple", which is managed by Zhou Sipei. Flowers and bamboos are planted in front of the clearing and surrounded by stone fences. In the 23rd year of the Republic of China (1934), South Hall and North Pavilion were built in Liangwa. There is a pavilion in the main hall, with a stone statue in the middle, two maids standing next to it, and two small plaques standing on the top of the pavilion, telling the truth, it's raining. Put a small couplet on the left and right.
This temple was rebuilt in 1990, facing south, with three bays, resting on the top of the mountain and double eaves, and a statue of a sculptor in the hall. The couplet of Xizi Temple is: the ancient hills around the mountain are green and ruddy; When the sea surges on the cold beach, it will become whiter. The link to the shrine of Xizi Temple is as follows: The more brilliant, the more just; Gold only casts charm. The columns are: observing the wind, thinking about the baby powder, the romantic life of the Chinese people, and pitching the figures of the ages; When I was drunk on the moon, I asked the mountain outside the door. The sound of the stream was stuffy and generations of ups and downs. Other scenic spots include Gu Yue Taiwan, Zhengdan Pavilion, Monument Gallery, Pink Pond, Shenyu Pond and Jixian Pavilion. This is a unique antique building complex.
