One, Bian Que.

During the Warring States Period, the real name of Mo people in Bohai Sea was Qin Yueren, also known as Lu Yi. Then why is it called Bian Que? Bian Que is his nickname. Because of his superb medical skills, he was called an imperial doctor, so he was called Bian Que, an imperial doctor in the period of the Yellow Emperor.

Therefore, Bian Que is a general term for doctors with superb medical skills and noble medical ethics. Bian Que pioneered the diagnostic methods of looking, hearing, asking and feeling in TCM, and was called the originator of traditional medicine and the founder of TCM theory.

Second, Zhang Zhongjing.

Nanyang, a native of the Eastern Han Dynasty, was honored as a medical sage by later generations. He quit his job to become a doctor and learn from others. Treatise on Febrile Diseases, written by him, is the earliest monograph on clinical diagnosis and treatment in China, which establishes the law of TCM "treatment based on syndrome differentiation" and lays the foundation of TCM therapeutics.
