Fighting and health preservation
I haven't practiced Xingyiquan, so I dare not say. However, Tai Ji Chuan's joint training with Sanda, fighting, Jeet Kune Do, karate and other martial arts is definitely in conflict, and the conflict is so great that it is easy to influence each other.

Sanda, fighting, Jeet Kune Do, karate and other martial arts, force is contraction force, that is, tight force; Tai Ji Chuan, on the other hand, demands relaxation, which is obviously in conflict. When practicing, I knew that if these two kinds of martial arts were practiced together, it would be easy for Tai Ji Chuan to relax. When practicing martial arts such as Sanda, fighting, Jeet Kune Do and karate, the efficiency of muscle contraction becomes worse than before.

In fact, it's not just Tai Ji Chuan who can't practice with these martial arts, and similar martial arts are not recommended to practice together, because each martial arts has different ways of exerting its strength. If you can't practice one martial arts well, it's easy to practice everything well, so it's recommended to practice one martial arts first, and then practice others.

When I used to learn martial arts, I didn't even learn nunchakus and Sanda together. I studied Sanda for a year first, and then learned nunchakus. The master said that if Sanda is not practiced well, it will easily lead to incorrect nunchakus. It is more difficult to learn the correct nunchakus and get rid of the wrong practices.
