Selection of stocking location
Wild fruits and weeds are the main feeding places for pigs, and grasslands rich in fruit trees such as hickory, apricot, hawthorn, acorn and cowpea seeds are mainly considered as important stocking places. Stocking sites should be far away from villages and cultivated land to prevent pigs from harming crops and polluting villages.
Build fences and houses
As a forest area, the temperature difference between day and night is large, and it is rainy in summer and autumn. When building a pen, we should give full consideration to cold and warmth, heatstroke prevention and rain prevention, and use wood, weeds and other materials in the forest to build a simple pen in the lee of the ravine. The terrain is high and dry, which is convenient for drainage and for pigs to rest at night. The area should not be too large. Preparation before raising pigs
1. Do a good job in immunization, deworming and castration of pigs. Pigs must be immunized against swine fever, foot-and-mouth disease, blue ear disease, piglet paratyphoid and other diseases before stocking. After several days of observation, when it is safe and healthy, it will be deworming, castration and careful feeding in time to prepare for stocking.

Feeding management of pigs
1. Domestication at the initial stage of stocking. Pigs live in groups and swim in the natural environment. Without domestication, they can't keep the habit of going out early and returning late, and it's not easy to manage. Therefore, when grazing, sows are used to lead piglets to familiarize them with the environment from near to far, artificially search for weeds and wild fruits, eat persistently every afternoon, close grazing on time, and let them circle with whistles and drums to stimulate piglets to establish reactions and form conditioned reflex. After more than a week, you can get into the habit of coming back for dinner and rest at night.
2. Reasonable complementary food. Pigs are free to eat weeds and wild fruits when they are stocked. In general, the feed they eat is not as comprehensive as that of fattening pigs in pens. Sometimes, due to the influence of the weather, they may not have enough to eat, so they need reasonable supplementary feeding. In the process of grazing, we should carefully observe the nutritional value and intake of weeds and wild fruits eaten by pigs. According to the characteristics that domestic pigs grow bones first, then meat and then fat, a supplementary diet formula is prepared. After grazing in the afternoon, feed should be supplemented reasonably and fed well to ensure the normal and healthy growth of pigs.
