Relevant regulations of lime stabilized soil?
1. According to the particle size and composition of individual particles in soil, soil can be divided into three types: fine soil, medium soil and coarse soil.

2. Lime dosage is expressed as the percentage of lime mass in the dry mass of all coarse and fine soil particles, that is, lime dosage = lime mass/dry soil mass.

3. Lime stabilized soil is suitable for subbase of highways at all levels, and also for subbase of secondary and below highways, but lime soil shall not be used as subbase of secondary highways and subbase of advanced pavements of secondary and below highways.

4. Lime soil should not be used as the base in wet sections in frozen areas and over-wet sections in other areas. When only lime soil can be used, measures should be taken to prevent water from infiltrating into the lime soil layer.

5, lime stabilized soil layer should be arranged in late spring and summer. The daily minimum temperature during construction should be above 5℃, and it should be completed one month to one and a half months before the first heavy freezing (-3~-5℃). A stable soil layer will experience a warm and hot climate for more than half a month. In rainy areas, lime-soil structure layer should be avoided in rainy season.

6. When lime is used to stabilize medium-grained soil and coarse-grained soil in rainy season, measures should be taken to eliminate surface water, prevent the aggregate transported to the pavement from getting too wet, and take measures to protect lime from rain.
