How to practice (correct the truth)
There are many ways to meditate. But the basis is as follows:

Excerpt from chapter 10 of Southern Meditation and Immortality, the form of seven-legged sitting, which is my own experience for your reference.

(1) When sitting quietly, you must relax your whole body's cranial nerves and muscles, and you must not feel nervous. It's best to smile, because when people laugh, their nerves will naturally relax.

If the muscles don't relax, the limbs will shake.

(2) Beginners should not meditate after eating, so as not to interfere with digestion. At the same time, don't meditate when you are hungry to avoid distraction.

(3) The air must circulate during meditation, but the wind cannot blow directly to the body.

Because I have rheumatoid arthritis, I feel uncomfortable when I meditate, so I can't stand the wind at first.

(4) When sitting quietly, the light should not be too dark, otherwise it is easy to get dizzy; The light can't be too strong, otherwise it will be easy to get nervous.

(5) When the climate is cold, keep warm and wrap your knees and the back of your head. Don't show your knees even when you meditate in hot weather.

As mentioned above, due to personal physical factors, I meditate in hot weather, and I am also wrapped in a quilt. My upper body is covered with a quilt to protect my shoulders and back, and my whole leg is covered with another quilt.

(6) Beginners should not sit still for too long, and take short time and multiple times as the principle.

(7) When you meditate for the first time, most of you can't have two sets, but you should have a single set. When serving, you must pad your hips. The height of the cushion depends on everyone's physical condition, and always takes comfort as the principle. If the mat is too high or too short; It makes you nervous. As for the hardness of the cushion, it must be moderate, otherwise it will cause physical discomfort and affect the mood and effect of meditation.

"Cushion is a must, single and double boards can be used. Beginners should make sure that the center of gravity falls on the baseboard. Details are discussed in the fourth question session below. "

Finally, I added the eighth one: collection work. Beginners are advised to do some collection work before sitting down every time. See Question 9 for details: How to collect works. 》

There are many formulas. I don't know if you are a Buddha. Tao? Confucianism?

Buddhism: Hui Ke, the second ancestor of Dharma, said a poem: "Breathe outside, don't breathe inside, your heart is like a wall, you can enter the Tao."

Diamond Sutra, Heart Sutra, Shurangama Sutra and Jue Yuan Sutra are also good!

Taoism: Lv Zu's 100-word essay, holding his breath and forgetting his words, does nothing to appease his heart. If you know your ancestors from sports, you can find someone else if you have nothing to do.

You really need to respond to things, don't be obsessed with things. Don't cling to living by yourself, live naturally.

Qi from the knot to Dan, the pot for obstacles. Yin and Yang are born again, and there is thunder.

White clouds are facing the top, and dew is sprinkled with sumeru. Since drinking longevity wine, who knows.

Sit and listen to music without strings and understand the machine. Twenty sentences, up the stairs.

Confucianism: "The way of a university is to be well-known and close to the people, and stop at perfection. Zhi Zhi then has a decision, then he can be quiet, then he can be quiet, then he can be safe, then he can think about it, and then he can get it. Things have a beginning and an end, and things have a beginning. Knowing the order is a shortcut. "
