Guangfu Temple's practice is inherited as Lin Ji Putuo Housi School.
Hong Yan's breadth and breadth is full of enlightenment in Zhan Ran's legal circles, while the enlightened sects are only spiritual and profound. However, Zhou Long's literary thought is often integrated with spreading wonderful principles, following the public trust of ancient sages, explaining the truth and verifying the moon and the sky.
It has been passed down to the clan generation.
Biography of master Tao
The master of Taoism is the founder of Guangfu Temple, a giant in Chongming County. His words and deeds are worth learning by future generations.
The master is magnificent in appearance, fresh and energetic, and floating like a saint. Long words, good at Sanskrit, loud as a stone.
The main taboo, the word mind, Gong Shizi, Erbao Town, Chongming Xianghua Township, is a common name. My ancestors worked in agriculture, and my family was poor and eager to learn. Born in 1890, Guangxu 16, Xun Qing, aged Geng Yin, on the first day of November in the ancient calendar; He died in 1946, on March 25th in the ancient calendar, at Yunlin Temple in Wuyi Town, and he was living in the west. Life expectancy is fifty-seven, monk wax is thirty-five.
There are more than ten disciples of Master, including Ye Cheng, Pu Zhao, Gu Ruo, Fa Zhen and Naicheng. More than a dozen disciples, enlightened, Buddhist, natural, intelligent and free. Among them, Xianyin is a rookie of contemporary tantric school. At the age of 20, he traveled around Japan with outstanding talent. Received the courtesy of the Crown Prince of Japan and left his name in history, regretting his early death. The lonely man studied in Zhina Buddhist College in his early years, but he inherited Ouyang's teachings and was considerate. After a year, he still devoted himself to classic research.
There are many descendants of the master. Now living in this county, he is often appointed as the abbot of Guangfu Temple, and is willing to be the abbot of Shou 'an Temple, all of whom are his disciples. Ren Shouan Temple abbot, concurrently head of Buddhist Association, is also a great-grandson.
As a Buddhist in Long Shao, I worked hard to cultivate talents and stayed up all night. 1925 I personally sent Ye Cheng to Beijing Guangji Temple Buddhist College to study teaching theory.
Looking at the disciples and grandchildren who have taught, there are many talented people. The reason why they can shoulder the heavy responsibility is that they were not trained by Zunzude.
The master is deeply rooted, with superior intelligence and abnormal behavior all his life. He is a newcomer to the West. At the age of graduation, I hope to be born earlier. At that time, there was no proper law to follow in the territory. At first, I approached Shisan Club, then I entered the palm of my hand to open the door, followed the crowd to deal with the backstage Dojo, and finally I felt something was wrong. It was at the age of 19 1 1 and 2 1 that I decided to travel unexpectedly and pursue Buddhism. First, he entered Zhaoqing Temple in Hangzhou, where he was ordained by a monk. A few days later, he returned to Xuwuzhi Temple in the north of Jibang Town, next to a primary school. The following year, the county governor Huang visited the school and saw that the master was eager to learn and humble, and he was recommended to Huayan University in Harbin Garden, Shanghai for further study. At that time, the lecturer Master Xia Yue praised his talent and was very popular. He went to Hangzhou and Ningbo until the school was dissolved for some reason. At that time, the master exorcist of Tiantai was stationed in Xiguan Temple and gladly went to visit. Judging from his research on rooftop education, he was deeply inspired in the Spring and Autumn Period.
After returning to the north, I went to Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang, Yin Gao Temple in Yangzhou and Tianning Temple in Changzhou to participate in meditation, then went south, lived in Huiji Temple in Putuo Mountain to see Tibetan scriptures, and went deep into Tibetan scriptures. At the same time, he went to Fusang Temple to pay homage to Master Yinguang. After being inspired by the old Indians, he devoted himself to studying Jing Zong, but he lived by chanting Buddha in the west. The anti-Japanese army flourished and was always sealed on Lingyan Mountain in Suzhou. He followed the public to Lingyan and won the respect of the old seal. He entrusted Xitang and other posts to assist Lingyan. In the late period of the Anti-Japanese War, the division closed doors and built cars for Guangfu Temple and Yunlin Temple for the second time to collect evidence.
I have studied many schools, taught Hong Tiantai, paid attention to the pure land, used the macro track of respecting the elderly, set an example for the public, sought Excellence from Excellence, and set a good example.
It is also a great achievement for the master to establish Guangfu Temple. At the beginning, Wuci was a shrine of Guan Yu, and there was a primary school in the courtyard. If the temple doesn't move, Brahma Temple can't be promoted, and the school won't give up, so it's difficult to promote education. The teacher hopes that temples and schools will flourish, but he always stays awake at night and builds a new house outside the hospital every three months. It is expected that the school will move and the district office will be occupied. Master hoped Hongzhijian would never stand up, and vowed never back down to work hard. 1930, finally six tile houses were built, and the resettlement office was located in the south bank of Jibang Town. Since then, it has laid the foundation for the revival of pure Buddhism in this county. Because the master is aiming at planting Futian widely. Gu's brow reads "Guangfu Tan Temple". Guangfu Temple returned to the main mansion from the public mansion. Educating people with Dafa can be done every day, and the news is getting longer and longer. Up to now, the number of believers within ten miles a week is the largest in the county. Buddhist monks and nuns in Chongming are famous for their wisdom and morality, so they have no source. People call Gong Wei Guangfu Temple the originator, but it is actually allowed.
Spare no effort for yourself, be kind to others, cultivate good and have fun, and be rigorous and meticulous. Living in white rice and cloth, practicing and fooling around. Be good at promoting incense and respect, learn to treat people widely, or pass on scriptures, or give alms to hunger and cold. 1932, the county suffered two floods, and the hungry people were hungry. Master preached the gospel and set up a porridge factory with Lu Siming and Chen Shirong. 194 1 year, the abbot, Xu, and other folk welfare undertakings of Yunlin Temple were founded in the temple and also provided medicine. Teachers and students travel to the west, check their relics and read only their books.
At the end of the season, the fate of teachers and students declined, and the county believed in Buddhism in name only, and all kinds of left-handed sects were called Buddhism. I am deeply saddened by the sympathy of the public, and I am determined to turn the tide. Turn to shrines and altars and return to the Pure Land Method. The reading guide is fascinating, * * * enters the Amitabha Sea, unifies the county's practice laws, and recites according to the rules and regulations of Lingyanshan Temple, creating a Buddhist chanting group. So the lotus fragrance was applied four times, and the Sanskrit sound was heard in Yingzhou. For a time, all directions devoted themselves to their work, and they all converted to it, such as Cai Shenfu and Yuan Yifei, and became lovers with their teachers. Qidong Dade Huang Zhigan and others joined hands to worship and converted to this seat. On behalf of people from all walks of life, they called on the public to move to Dayou Temple in Xi. The master happily crossed the river with his disciple Ye Cheng and lived in Dayuji, Xi. Li Qinggui, Zheng Pini, when Zong Fengbi was young, were four sages, invited to convert and even begged for a haircut. Nowadays, most of the leading figures in the county monk world are the novice monks who sought degrees in those days. It is a great honor for the public that they follow the instructions of their ancestors, follow the teachings, link the past with the future, and the master does not donate.
The master showed silence, predicted the arrival of time, and the auspicious phase was obvious. 1March, 946, the teacher returned from Lingyan Mountain. When he left, a monk asked the teacher when he would come again. Come back when you are a young monk. After returning to China to worship, he lived in Yunlin Temple. After a while, he felt a little sick. At 8 o'clock on the morning of March 25, he said to disciple Gu Ruo: You must run Shou 'an Temple well. Xuan also told the public that the Buddha came to pick me up and I died at ten o'clock. You must read the Buddha honestly and diligently, and you will definitely meet the Buddha. 10/5: 00 15: 00, the master sat with his hands crossed and died smiling in the crowd chanting Buddha. His face was raw and his body was limp. In the spring of the following year, there were dozens of relics, and the ashes were built in Yunlin Temple for support. 195 1 year, disciple breg held Master's ashes in Lingyan Mountain.
Zan: I should go back to Yingzhou. I am enlightened by the sea, and all beings are not finished. I would like to come again.

Biography of Master Ye Cheng
Master, a sage of Chongming Buddhism. Learn Buddhism and Confucianism, and both Taiwan and the Internet are integrated. He achieved great success in pure land in France. Xu, a senior master of Tiantai Giant Repair, is a disciple. Invite experts from all subjects to speak on his behalf about the instructor's program, Fahua and Tibetan classics. At that time, the teacher was still a late learner. But the tongue is full of lotus flowers, and the words are eloquent and deep-rooted.
The mage is the first disciple of the Taoist priest and the first descendant of Guangfu Temple. I have a good eye and will never fail my teacher's kindness. I will shoulder the burden of Tathagata's family business, carry forward the past and forge ahead into the future, and be determined to spread Buddhism and benefit my life, and do my best until I die.
At the beginning of Guangfu Temple, the scale was simple. Teacher Hongyuan has a broad vision, expanded the school building of Dagong Middle School in 1946, and asked Guangfu Temple to move. The agreement was completed and he tasted his long-cherished wish. In order to buy wood, the teacher went to the producing area himself. Every time he carved a Buddha statue and started work, he did it himself for three years. 1947, Hall 1 and Hall 2 were built in the south of Zhongxing Town, and Guangfu Temple moved. At that time, the scale had begun to take shape, but the Tathagata icon had not yet been loaded with gold, and the building was solemn and needed to be enriched. Fill the Buddha with gold and prepare some gold for later use. It is expected that at the beginning of the Cultural Revolution, the Buddha statue will be destroyed and the Vatican will change hands. To 1968, robbery turned violent, and Qing was like a teacher. It is also a pity that he was not punished and accused of being a spy of the central government. Why did they try their best to kill Kim and finally died before trying? Loyal people have no time to support them. After the "Cultural Revolution", the government rehabilitated Ye Ping, and the deceased passed away, and the survivors were exonerated!
The mage is afraid of Ye Cheng and understands Buddhism. He is the only son of Chen in Yu 'an Township of the county, with a common name. He was born in a Buddhist family. Pure and filial piety, father died young, mother and son lived alone. Childhood illness led to the desire to be born, and his mother allowed him to become a monk. He entered Guangfu Temple in his prime and became a monk according to the Taoist priest's tonsure. Next year, he will be ordered by a monk to live in Fayu Temple in Putuo. After resigning, he was favored by the master of printing light and was introduced to the Buddhist College of Guangji Temple in Beijing to study teaching theory. He was sent to the north by his parents and graduated at the age of 20, that is, he went to the Guanzong Buddhism Society in Ningbo to learn the concept of rooftop education, and then he joined the Tiantai Research Association of Shui Sheng Temple in Hangzhou and studied the teachings of the master for two years. Ye Shi Hui learned from others, studied from Tongji, listened to his talents, and wished to be the successor of Famen Dragon Elephant and Emperor Taizong, so people poured out what they had learned, proved it and cultivated it carefully. Apprentice to the teacher and tireless, finally succeeded in calming the old man's heart and becoming a pillar of Buddhism.
At the age of 26, the mage returned to worship due to illness and joined the Catholic Church to specialize in Pure Land Law. From then on, I only lived by chanting Buddha in the pure land. At the age of 20, at the request of Huang Zhigan in Qidong, he went to Qidong with the public and served as abbot in Dayu chicken in Xi. Therefore, the rules were formulated and the Pure Land Dojo was created. At that time, there were thousands of people eager for haircuts, and they became the first brake of Buddhism. The deeper Ye Shi learned, the more he felt inadequate. Sheng Zhi, a disciple of the special committee, was in charge, and he went to Hangzhou for retirement every time he was free, seeking further study. He never slacked off and never lacked until he was liberated.
After liberation, Ye Shi practiced Gui Fang in Guangfu Temple, combining agriculture with Zen. 1954 was invited to Putuo Fosaiji, and the following year was invited to give lectures at Fayu Temple and other places, talking about the skills of Wang Yao Bodhisattva Hokkekyo. Learn to flow from one's own nature and spread the dharma, so that the educated can drink like water. 1957, a former preacher, was hired as a professor. My stepmother got sick and went home to wait on her, even washing the drowning device. She had to work hard for eight years and write tirelessly in her spare time, such as "Tibetan Scriptures and Interpretations", in order to enlighten her later studies, but she regretted that the manuscript was completely destroyed during the Cultural Revolution.
There are 16 disciples of Ye Shi, among whom Minhui is versatile and disciplined. Many people, such as Bi Sheng and Sheng Hu, died young. Guangfu Temple constant abbot. 1958, Guangfu Temple was robbed, but he was still at the temple. He has never been chanting for 28 years. 1985, Guangfu Temple implemented the policy of reopening to the outside world, with Chang as the abbot.
Ye was born in the first year of Xuantong 1909, and was born in the west on the evening of July 29, 1968, with a life span of 50% and 40%. 1972 winter, living, living, etc. Find his remains and make up for them. To 1982, was placed in Lingyanshan Temple.
Praise: Tiantai Sect, pure land god colt, but before the end, Lianchi must predict.
Unscrupulous behavior is often mentioned.

Constant mage
Master Chang Ding, a native of Qidong, Jiangsu Province, was born in 19 19. His family is rich, learn from the past and learn from the present. He is a scholar with good spirit and is familiar with the five major civilizations. At the age of 21, he became a monk at Guangfujiang Temple in Chongming County, Shanghai, and was ordained at Baohuashan Mountain in Nanjing at the age of 22. The Taoist priest gave him a dharma name, with a broad mind and unchanged words, with the intention of keeping him in Guangfu Temple forever and guarding the Dojo. However, after being ordained, he did not return to Guangfu Temple, but went to Shui Sheng Temple, where his master once attended, and quietly studied Tiantai Sect classics for two and a half years with the old monk. Later, he was admitted to the Buddhist College of Zhanshan Temple in Qingdao, majoring in Tiantai Sect. But he dropped out of school because of illness and had to end his study career. In other words, his dream of being a wizard was shattered here. Although he was determined to study Buddhism diligently when he became a monk, he was determined to be a virtuous mage in the future, but he suffered from the most intractable tuberculosis at that time. He didn't lose heart after the initial setback. Instead, he struggled with death while treating diseases, and taught himself all the courses of Tiantai Sect designated by the Buddhist College. On the contrary, his attainments in Tiantai Sect are better than his classmates. Even Master Mingshan was deeply impressed, so in 1982, at the suggestion of Master Mingshan and at the invitation of the Chinese Buddhist Association, he became the teacher of the first Sangha class held by the Chinese Buddhist Association in qixia temple (after the Cultural Revolution), realizing his wish 40 years ago. 1989, Chang Ding, the abbot of Guangfu Temple, made great efforts to train monks, and won the preparatory class of Shanghai Buddhist College to Chongming County and founded it in Chongming Guangfu Temple! To this end, Master Chang Ding Ran ran around, writing application reports and submitting various materials, trying his best to present many advantages. After more than a year of twists and turns, with the support of Master Zhen Chan, the abbot of the Jade Buddha Temple in Shanghai, the preparatory class of Shanghai Buddhist College officially started in Guangfu Temple in June 1990 1 1. Teacher Chang Ding has been the head teacher of this class for nearly five years. In Master Chang Ding's self-report, his life of farming and Zen is more difficult and harsh than expected, and it is also simple and realistic. It is a kind of persistence that has been fighting against it. 1958 After the temple was sealed, most of the monks in Guangfu Temple, Chongming County, Shanghai "returned to where they came from", with the exception of Master Chang Ding, who built two thatched cottages beside the temple and lived with his elderly parents. It all went so smoothly that no one came out to stop it at that time, as if it were a hint-hold on! But how to survive? Master Changting is a patient. As early as 1940s, he got tuberculosis while studying in the Buddhist College of Zhanshan Temple in Qingdao, and had to drop out of school and return to Chongming. In his words, "I will wait until I die. I know. Although I survived many times in the end, I was sick and couldn't do heavy work. When you are tired, you vomit blood. Even so, he still has to support his elderly parents. The local villagers described it as: "When the production team settled down, it often had no production capacity and could only rely on the corn of the production team at that time to make a living. There is no money to pay back at the end of the year, so we have to owe it again and again, which has been delayed for many years. It can be seen that his living conditions are not good. He is often seen planting broad beans in the field in front of his house to make up for the lack of food. There is an old saying in China that "a long illness makes a doctor", and so does Changting. In the long-term struggle against the disease, he learned to see a doctor, feel the pulse, acupuncture and so on, and can cure some minor illnesses and so on. This is purely charity, and he doesn't accept money. However, the rural folk customs are simple, and the villagers have changed their forms to solve his urgent needs. During Guang Chen's 28-year farming and Zen career, Master Chang Ding persisted year after year in such a grain shortage.
However, when people's wishes often deviate from the realistic conditions of their wishes, the greater the disparity, the stronger it becomes. A storm of the Cultural Revolution turned Master Chang Ding's initial obsession into a sudden desire to revive Guangfu Temple in this life. This wish that no one dared to think at that time suddenly rose in Master Heng's heart, not without reason. It was his mentor, Master Ye Cheng, the abbot of Guangfujiang Temple, who died, which inspired his wish. Master, who was sentenced to be the squadron leader of East China Middle School, was put in a bullpen and died under a stick just because he corresponded with two disciples in Hong Kong. Before that, Master Chang didn't have that great desire or his ambition as a monk was in other aspects. That is to say, as mentioned above, to be a veritable mage is to preach classics and dharma for the benefit of a lifetime. In the late 1960s, when Buddhism in China was silent, Master Chang Ding sprouted the desire to revive Guangfu Temple. His wish can be regarded as grand, and his heart is great! Seeing this, people can't help but ask, why is Master Chang Ding so sure that he will be able to revive the Guangfu Lecture Hall in his later years under the turbulent disaster at that time? He said, "There is only one backer, and that is the government's religious policy. After liberation, I studied the national constitution, one of which is "China people and China citizens have freedom of religious belief. "After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, as Chongming Island, the third largest island in China, Buddhism resumed its religious activities. Chang Ding, the first Sangha class run by the Chinese Buddhist Association in qixia temple after the Cultural Revolution, knew that Guangfu Temple would be reopened. As soon as the first Sangha class ended, he refused to stay in the university and returned to Chongming County in Shanghai with confidence to realize his wish.
Back in Chongming Island, he first donated his only two thatched cottages to the temple, and then collected disciples to build the mountain gate. With apprentices, there are more helpers, believers gather, sand piles become mountains, and mountains become peaks. Guangfu Temple, which covers an area of more than 50 mu and has complete facilities, has finally resumed construction.
The above information comes from Master Xuanguang, the abbot of Guangfu Temple.
Master Xuan guang
Master Xuanguang, a native of Tongxiang, Zhejiang. He became a monk at Guangfu Temple in Chongming, Shanghai, and was often instructed by a master. He first learned the concept of rooftop education according to the tonsure teacher, and then inherited the rooftop method from the wise monk of Zhanshan Temple, which is the forty-sixth generation of authentic rooftop. 1989 became a monk in Chongming Guangfu Temple. 1989 12 Tiantong Temple in Ningbo was punished. 1993 engaged in temple management in Guangfu temple and concurrently served as a teacher in Chongming class of Shanghai Buddhist College. Since 1997, he has been responsible for the daily work of Guangfu Temple. 1998 was elected as a member of the CPPCC of Chongming County, vice president and deputy secretary general of Chongming County Buddhist Association in 20001February, and executive director of Shanghai Buddhist Association in 200310/month. In 2007, the monks of Guangfu Temple unanimously elected the abbot of this temple. In 2007, he was elected president of Chongming Buddhist Association and executive director of anti-cult association.
Master Xuanguang is a rare talent who is proficient in teaching and good at management. I made a special trip to Singapore to learn speech skills and classical theory. Every July, during the one-month Tibetan Dharma Meeting in our temple, Master Xuanguang gives an hour-long lecture on the Original Wishing Sutra of Tibetan Bodhisattva to the believers every day. Explain the Amitabha Sutra and the Pure Land Law to the believers at the annual Winter Solstice Law Meeting in1February. Master Xuanguang has won the master's biography in the study of teaching theory, followed the old adage of "learning from the rooftop, returning to the pure land", and made great achievements in the study of Tiantai Sect and Pure Land Sect. In order to cultivate talents to popularize Buddhism, the master organized a Buddhist study group in his spare time to teach Tiantai Sect, primer, five seasons and eight religions, teaching concept and teaching outline. When the time is ripe, he will further teach most of Tiantai's classics "Fa Hua Xuan Yi" and "Maha Zhi Guan".
The mage got the true biography of traditional Chinese medicine, and Nanzong martial arts. Traditional Chinese medicine is inherited from Dr. Chen's family, while martial arts is taught by Zhang Mingliang, a famous boxer in Zhoukou. Teacher Zhang Mingliang is a disciple of Zhang Henian, the longevity star of Wulin.
Master Xuanguang not only often treats sick monks and nuns, but also studies Zen martial arts in his spare time and integrates his understanding of Tiantai teaching into martial arts. Therefore, I made a vow to write my experience into a book "Judy in Wuhai" to carry forward the Zen idea of "stop at martial arts and be at home and abroad" in Nanzong. Up to now, more than 65,438+00 articles about Zen have been written and published on Sina Weibo. In addition to the boxing and jurisprudence of the Southern School, the content also includes the simple and effective health-keeping calisthenics created by ourselves. ……
