Women's health maintenance
Danggui Shaoyao Powder specializes in treating dysmenorrhea in women.
Master notes
Dysmenorrhea with deficiency syndrome is common, and the cure rate of traditional Chinese medicine is high. Experiential dysmenorrhea often has organic changes, such as the uterus leaning forward or backward, cervical canal stenosis and so on. Its apparent efficiency is relatively low. The basic prescription for treating dysmenorrhea is modified Danggui Shaoyao Powder in Synopsis of the Golden Chamber.

Interpretation of TCM
The phenomenon of severe stomach pain during menstruation and natural disappearance after menstruation is called dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea mostly occurs during menstruation, and some people occur a few days before menstruation. Abdominal pain is aggravated after menstrual cramps, and everything is normal after menstruation.
Dysmenorrhea can be divided into primary dysmenorrhea and secondary dysmenorrhea. Primary dysmenorrhea refers to abdominal pain at the beginning of menstruation, while secondary dysmenorrhea refers to menstrual abdominal pain after several years or more. The causes of the two kinds of dysmenorrhea are different. The causes of primary dysmenorrhea are uterine stenosis, uterine dysplasia or large endometrium in menstrual blood. The causes of secondary dysmenorrhea are mostly qi stagnation and blood stasis, cold and dampness stagnation, and liver and kidney loss.
He Lao believes that for primary dysmenorrhea (empirical), the effect is not obvious, but for secondary dysmenorrhea (deficiency syndrome), the cure rate of traditional Chinese medicine will be very high. In clinical treatment, he generally takes Danggui Shaoyao Powder from Synopsis of the Golden Chamber as the basic prescription, and treats cold and heat as deficiency and excess.
Consists of 9 grams of Angelica sinensis, 0/8 grams of Radix Paeoniae Alba/kloc-,0/2 grams of Poria/kloc-,0/2 grams of Atractylodes macrocephala/kloc-,0/2 grams of Alisma orientalis/kloc-and 9 grams of Rhizoma Chuanxiong.
On the six flavors, it is scattered. 6 grams each time, with warm wine, three times a day.
Radix Astragali and Radix Dipsaci are added for deficiency, but Radix Aucklandiae, Fructus Toosendan and Rhizoma Chuanxiong are actually added, Radix Aucklandiae, Fructus Foeniculi and Caulis Perillae are added for cold, Cortex Moutan is added for heat, Radix Paeoniae Alba is easy to turn red, and Pollen Typhae and Oletum Trogopterori are added for blood stasis.
In addition, for dysmenorrhea patients with obvious blood stasis and heat-liking, He Lao often uses Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction. For patients with mild dysmenorrhea, or because it is not convenient to learn the decoction, He Lao suggested taking Mu Yi ointment to relieve pain.

Five tips to resist dysmenorrhea without spending money
You may not expect that 80% of women in the world suffer from dysmenorrhea like you every month, and more than 50% of them are primary dysmenorrhea without cause and radical cure. What you didn't expect is that you don't have to be so "painful" at all, you can mobilize your whole body to save "dysmenorrhea".
Estrogen mobilization order:
Women in menstrual period have the lowest estrogen content and the lowest tolerance for pain, which makes menstrual pain more painful than any other period.
Suggestion: Use natural food to supplement estrogen.
Analysis: Women's pain tolerance is closely related to the amount of estrogen in the body. Supplementing estrogen with natural food can increase women's pain tolerance.
Large intestine mobilization order:
The stress reaction caused by constipation accelerates gastrointestinal peristalsis and uterine contraction, causing short-term severe pain or aggravating dysmenorrhea symptoms.
Suggestion: The diet is light and easy to digest.
Analysis: Eating light and digestible food and keeping the stool unobstructed can avoid aggravating menstrual pain symptoms due to severe peristalsis of digestive tract.
Vascular mobilization order:
Pain leads to sympathetic nervous tension and vasoconstriction, which in turn aggravates dysmenorrhea and forms a vicious circle.
Suggestion: heat the body.
Analysis: Drinking hot water and wearing more clothes to heat the body can dilate blood vessels, accelerate blood flow, resist contraction of uterine smooth muscle, and then relieve pain. Experiments show that the analgesic effect of oral placebo can be comparable to that of oral analgesic drugs while heating the body. If you take analgesic drugs orally while heating your body, the onset time of the drugs can be advanced by half.
Brain mobilization order:
Studies have found that brain tension will reduce the human body's tolerance to pain, so the severity of dysmenorrhea is directly proportional to brain tension. Through functional research, it is further confirmed that the area in the brain that feels other people's pain is the same as the area that feels your own pain, which means that seeing other people's dysmenorrhea may lead to your dysmenorrhea.
Suggestion: avoid the "painful" person; Watch a hilarious comedy to relax your brain.
Analysis: When we concentrate on the film, a lot of endorphins are produced in the body, which can cut off the pain signal and temporarily relieve the pain; Once you feel happy, the body will release dopamine, activate the brain cell membrane, and play an analgesic role.
Uterine mobilization order:
If menstrual blood cannot flow freely from the cervix, but stays in the uterus and slowly flows out, it will cause pelvic blood stasis and aggravate menstrual pain and back pain.
Suggestion: Keep your head low and your hips high.
Analysis: Kneeling on the bed and raising the buttocks during dysmenorrhea can improve the posterior position of uterus, facilitate menstrual blood outflow, relieve pelvic blood stasis, and relieve pain and low back discomfort.
