(1) The construction of concrete bridge deck pavement shall be carried out in accordance with Chapter 7 of Technical Specification for Slipform Construction of Highway Cement Concrete Pavement (JTJ/T037. 1-2000) and relevant chapters of Technical Specification for Construction of Highway Cement Concrete Pavement (JTGF30-2003).

(2) The concrete shall be laid evenly, with the laying height slightly higher than the completed deck elevation; It shall be compacted by vibrator and leveled by flat plate.

(3) The final finishing work of concrete bridge deck pavement should include leveling and cleaning. Before finishing, remove all free water from the surface, but don't use cement, stone powder or sand to absorb surface water.

(4) After a section of bridge deck is paved and trimmed, it should be covered and maintained as soon as possible after slurry brushing.

(5) When there is another layer of asphalt concrete pavement on the concrete bridge deck pavement, the surface of the concrete bridge deck pavement shall be brushed in addition to the above requirements.

(6) When impervious concrete needs to be laid on the bridge deck, it should be coordinated with reference to the requirements of impervious concrete. When the admixture is used to improve the workability and quality of concrete, it shall be determined by the test approved by the supervision engineer, and the admixture fee shall not be paid separately.
