Ten years ago, there was no such word, but ten years later, people began to use it to describe the position of your occipital vertebra with a very obvious bulge. I don't know if you have noticed the friends around you. Some friends have a bulging big bag at the junction of cervical vertebra and thoracic vertebra from the back of the neck. This is called "Fuguibao". Think of this term as a nickname. It's easier to remember and arouse everyone's interest.
So what caused an obvious bulge in that position of our cervical vertebra? This is actually related to our posture habits and anatomical structure. We know the location of the junction of our cervical vertebra and thoracic vertebra. Below the spinous process of the seventh cervical vertebra is Dazhui point, which is the key point of Du meridian. Dazhui The largest vertebra of Dazhui is called Dazhui because the spinous process of our seventh cervical vertebra is the most obvious protrusion.
So since this position is the junction of cervical vertebra and thoracic vertebra, and it is a central force point, there must be many muscles connected and attached to each other. The most superficial muscle is called trapezius muscle, which is very large, reaching up to our pillow, down to the outside of our shoulder blades and down to our spine to form an attachment point.
Then such a diamond-shaped very large muscle is attached to our left and right sides. If there is no attachment point in the middle, will this muscle rub back and forth and move up and down So there must be an attachment in the middle. As you can imagine, this attachment is screwed on the spine like a screw. In order to stick the trapezius muscle more tightly, rhombic, white and dense fascia areas are formed on the upper, lower, left and right sides of the vertebra. It is not attached to a point, but to a diamond-shaped area around the Dazhui. This is the anatomical feature of its attachment.
There are many muscles under this rhomboid muscle. For example, we know that there is a small rhomboid muscle, which is related to the activity of our scapula. One end is connected to the scapula, and the other end is connected to the position of the spine. Moreover, the upper posterior serratus muscle is connected with our ribs, especially the ribs of the upper thoracic vertebra, and then connected with the spine, which is very helpful for the expansion of the ribs during deep inhalation. Therefore, it has a certain impact on people's respiratory function.
In addition to these oblique or transverse muscles, there are many longitudinal muscles in the deep layer. In addition to the deep muscles of the spinal cord, there are also the cephalic muscles on both sides, which will attach to the vertebra. Therefore, this position of Dazhui is a multi-level three-dimensional structure, and oblique muscles and vertical muscles are alternately attached. So what does Dazhui decide? Your bow, head, left turn and right turn, including shrug and shoulder turn, all have a central force point relationship with Dazhui.
It is precisely because of this that in the meridian theory of traditional Chinese medicine, it is considered that the yang meridian and du meridian of human body intersect with Dazhui point, so Dazhui point is a particularly critical point, which is particularly important whether it is the operation of qi and blood or the balance of muscles and muscle systems. If you bow your head too much, the Dazhui will bear much more weight than our previous generations.
So the pile in this position is particularly prone to problems. When there is a problem, don't forget that the surface is a large muscle with a diamond-shaped area, and there are many muscles below, some walking sideways and some walking vertically. Then these muscles and muscles usually go their own way, just like the subway. You go your way, I go mine, and everyone is not on the same floor. But there must be lubricant among us to prevent inflammation caused by excessive friction, but if we keep doing a posture, the lubricant will gradually decrease with age. This kind of liquid is called vaginal fluid in our Chinese medicine, which means "blood is in the pulse and body fluid is outside the pulse". Some lubricating fluids attached to the surface of our muscle fascia and the lubricating fluids on our joints are also the manifestations of yin blood in human body.
Then when you reach a certain age or go to bed late, or get some chronic diseases, resulting in insufficient yin and blood, all layers of muscles rub against each other, and whether the fascia touches the fascia, it is very easy to have an inflammatory reaction. Therefore, when we bow our heads excessively, pose improperly, or because of age or chronic diseases, there is excessive friction between our rhomboid muscle and the underlying multi-level and multi-angle muscles, so some inflammatory reactions occur, leading to exudation and edema. If this exudative edema is still soft, although it is swollen, it looks like a bulge on the outside, because at this time, as long as we release this tension, the fascia will relax and the liquid will come out and be absorbed by the human body. Naturally, this place will improve and restore its function. However, if this place is repeatedly damaged for a long time, the liquid is slowly absorbed, and then the local tissue gradually fibroses and proliferates, then it becomes a hard bag at this time, so it is difficult to eliminate this hard bag. Do you think you have such a big bag behind your cervical vertebra? Some people say it's beautiful? I said that affecting the appearance is the worst problem. I told you there might be some side effects.
For example, the first side effect, because there is a small rhomboid muscle under this position, which is related to heart function, and an upper and lower serrate muscle, which is related to lung function, then it makes you uncomfortable when breathing, and even has palpitations and heartache.
The second is that the longitudinal muscle is connected with the suboccipital area, which often leads to the imbalance of left and right tension, the abnormality of occipital-atlantoaxial joint, the stimulation of blood vessels entering the skull, the change of blood pressure, dizziness and headache, even memory loss, cerebral ischemia, blurred vision, deafness and tinnitus, and a series of problems are gradually coming to you.
So you say Dazhui's position is very important? That's not enough. The cervical vertebra itself will also have problems. What's wrong with cervical vertebra? Straighten curvature, even bend backward, and even lead to severe cervical spondylosis. So we can see that people with wallets often have a horizontal stripe at the position of the cervical vertebra. As long as you see this kind of horizontal stripe, it must be that the curvature is straight, or even the cervical vertebra is upside down, which will also lead to a series of problems such as numbness in hands and string pain in upper limbs.
I think at least 60% to 70% of the symptoms are related to this wallet. So this package is not as simple as affecting the appearance. We should try to get rid of it. So how can we get rid of all this talk? In fact, the method is also very simple.
If we touch it with our hands and find something soft below, it means that the liquid has just begun to ooze, then we will choose a very simple method. From the doctor's point of view, we will use acupuncture to relax fascia and let it be absorbed and eliminated faster. But it doesn't matter if you don't know these methods. You can use moxibustion because moxibustion has a good effect on the exudation and absorption of local inflammatory reactions.
When doing moxibustion in Dazhui, don't limit yourself to this point, but cover the white rhombic fascia of trapezius muscle. Moxibustion should be done in this part to let the heat penetrate. Moxibustion lasts at least 30 minutes at a time to achieve good results. Of course, it will be more obvious if we can add some acupuncturists' techniques and auxiliary moxibustion effects.
If you touch it with your hands, I don't feel soft, I feel hard. At this time, patients often have a special feeling, which we call proprioception abnormality. He often feels that the back of his neck is as heavy as three mountains, and it is difficult to lift his neck. Even if he lifts his eyelids for a while, he feels sleepy, and this brain feels ischemic. This situation is more common in heavier patients, so what should I do if I encounter such patients?
Let me give you an example. A friend of mine introduced me to a patient. He is the head coach of a wrestling team and won many championships when he was young. There's obviously something wrong with your neck because you've always wanted to wrestle. In the process of wrestling, the neck sprain is bruised a lot, the cervical curvature is very problematic, and there are many old injuries.
So his neck is always uncomfortable, so let the boys on the team massage him. You want so many energetic boys, massage him if you have nothing to do. Later, when I met him, he took a young man with him. I said, can you teach me how to massage? After this young man came up, he put his elbow in the position of Dazhui and pressed it here. He said: "I don't feel anything if I don't work so hard." You have a normal massage, and you have needles. I feel numb and have no pain. " Only when he gives me such hard work and pushes me down with his elbow can I feel the deep numbness and slight pain, and then this feeling will make me feel quite comfortable. "
However, if you keep doing this, excessive massage is particularly easy to cause new edema and new exudation, which will aggravate this situation repeatedly. So remind everyone that if there is such a problem, don't press hard at this part first, which is very easy to cause inflammation and exudation. What used to be soft can be cured quickly, but later it became this kind of hard and repeated injury.
Later, we used the method of acupuncture to grasp from the central point to all directions to relax the local fascia. But in this difficult situation, it is not enough to just loosen it. What did we do? We used pricking blood and cupping. In the early days, it was jelly-like, sticky and thick. It can be said that it is not normal blood. Stasis here for a long time, it becomes waste blood. So at this time, it is necessary to pull out his waste blood and then improve the blood circulation again.
So acupuncture, pricking blood and cupping were repeated for about half a year. As a result, his rich bag, an obvious big bag, was squashed. Although visible to the naked eye, it does not affect his normal work and life, and the tingling at the back of his neck is completely gone. Therefore, we should remind everyone that all diseases must be treated early, and never wait until the disease is serious to find a solution.
This is also a great challenge for doctors.
