There are two kinds of common rose tea, one is the flower bone that has not yet opened, commonly known as the rose bud, and the other is the open, commonly known as the "rose corolla".
1, fragrance: the same two corollas and flower buds, whether smelling incense or making tea, the fragrance of corolla will be slightly more fragrant than that of flower buds.
2. Persistence of fragrance: Brewing experience has proved that the corolla is slightly better than the bud, and this fragrance comes from one of the effective components of rose, "rosanol", which also proves that the release degree of rosanol in the corolla is higher than that in the bud.
3. Bubble resistance: Take a cup of 400Ml water as an example. Put two flowers in the corolla, you can feel the thick rose flavor, and you can brew it repeatedly for one day, but you need to put 5-6 flowers in the bud, and the taste is appropriate. From this point of view, Corolla is quite cost-effective and durable.
4. Nutritional value: According to the research, practice and experiments of Chinese botanists, when the rose blooms to about 70%, various nutrients reach the maximum accumulation, and 70% of the state is probably a semi-open corolla, but over 70%, nutrients begin to lose. At the same time, scientific experiments also show that the content of rose corolla is much higher than that of bud, so the nutritional value of rose corolla is higher than that of rose bud from the physical and chemical indicators.
2. What kind of roses are best for making tea?
There are many kinds of roses, among which the most famous roses in China are Phnom Penh Rose, pingyin rose Rose, Bitter Water Rose, French Chiba Rose and Damascus Rose.
1, Phnom Penh rose (recommended index of scented tea: ★)
A wild rose variety, also known as "Snow Mountain Rose", has a history of more than 20 years. After testing, there are a few trace elements and amino acids!
2. pingyin rose (recommendation index of scented tea: ★★★ ★)
It has a long history, deep color and elegant smell. The domestic market is mostly used for refining essential oil. The quality of pure dew and pingyin rose essential oil is among the best in the country and enjoys a high reputation in domestic and foreign markets. The growing environment is not too limited, so the fragrance purity of pingyin rose is greatly reduced, and it is also used to make rose sauce and rose cakes.
3. Bitter water rose (recommended index of scented tea: ★★★ ★)
It has been planted in Yongdeng County, Gansu Province for more than 200 years. Bitter rose buds are small in size, light in taste, deep in color and fresh in taste, so the price is relatively low. It is mostly used for refining essential oil, pure dew and tea. Because it tastes bitter, it is mainly used to extract pure dew!
4. French chiba rose (recommended index of scented tea: ★★★★ ★).
Chiba rose has good quality and strong fragrance, which can be used to extract essential oil and pure dew. It needs to be dried immediately after picking and stored strictly. If it comes into contact with air or water, it is easy to oxidize and fade. Therefore, the price of this imported rose is relatively high, and there are fewer kinds. And if it is out of the growing environment in France, the efficacy value will be much lower. At present, it has not been planted in China. But it is sold in China, and there are many fakes.
5. Damascus rose (recommended index of scented tea: ★★★★ ★)
It belongs to one of the oldest roses in the world. Literature records the planting history of more than 4000 years and the edible history of more than 2000 years. Among them, the purest Damascus Rose No.3 is rich in more than 300 effective substances, especially 120 effective substances for human body. The nutrients contain "18 kinds of amino acids", which was once used exclusively by the royal family, and the anthocyanin of this rose (that is, the anti-aging component in rose) is very soluble in water. Now it is mainly used to extract high-end perfumes, skin care products and edible essential oils.
Cloud rose is the third variety of Damascus rose and the purest Damascus rose at present. Its fragrance type is defined as "international standard fragrance type". Cloud rose is planted by the self-operated Damascus rose base, which is 3700 meters above sea level and is a national 4A-level scenic ecological zone. It is really picked and baked directly from the base to the hands of consumers!
Third, how to choose rose tea
1. Smell the flowers: smell the roses to see if there is any peculiar smell. Put the rose tea under your nose and smell it deeply to distinguish whether the flowers are pure or not. Generally speaking, roses with good quality have a nose-flushing aroma, while those with weak aroma do not have this feeling, so the quality is slightly inferior to the former.
2. Weighing: To buy rose tea, you must first grab a handful of scented tea and weigh it, and carefully observe whether there are flowers, stems and scraps. Generally speaking, high-quality rose tea is relatively heavy, and there will be no stalks, scraps and other things. Inferior scented tea is light in weight and allows a small amount of impurities.
3, look at the flower shape: the shape of the rose must first be full and the color is uniform. Then look at whether the petals are complete or broken, and try to choose complete petals.
4. Enjoy tea soup: don't think that the red tea is good rose tea. If the tea soup is red, it must be pigment. Generally speaking, a really good rose tea soup will be similar in color to ordinary green tea soup, only slightly darker, yellowish or reddish, but definitely not red.
