Ginger is a tropical perennial herb with a height of 60-90 meters. Nature likes water, wet and hot, and its long spike leaves are like reeds. It originated in India and was one of the earliest spices spread from Asia to Europe. After the Spanish invaders brought ginger to the West Indies, it immediately became a wild plant there, and Jamaica at that time became one of the main producing areas of ginger. Nowadays, ginger is grown in many countries with suitable climate, including India (accounting for 50% of global production), Malaysia, Africa, Japan, China, Queensland and Florida.
For hundreds of years, Indian, China and Japanese have been worried about the medicinal value of ginger.
