What is the relationship between vegetative growth and reproductive growth of plants?
After a period of growth, the seedling becomes a plant with three vegetative organs: root, stem and leaf. When plants grow and develop to a certain stage, they begin to form flower buds. Marks the beginning of reproductive growth.

For annual plants and biennial plants, after plants grow reproductive organs, the vegetative growth gradually slows down or even stops. For perennial plants, at flowering age, the vegetative organs and reproductive organs still develop every year.
