Scientists at California Institute of Technology have found that people over the age of 100 have the same genetic mutation, which scientists say will help to find ways to slow down human aging.

Changshou district of Chongqing

What is the origin of the name of Changshou County? We should start with the geographical evolution of Changshou County. According to A Brief History of Chongqing, during the Warring States Period, before the ninth year of Qin Wanghui (that is, 3 16 BC), the eastern part of Sichuan was in the clan and tribe stage, which could not be verified due to the lack of detailed written records. Judging from the places where the Yangtze River passes and the distribution of ancient clans and tribes around Changshou, Changshou belongs to orange. There are Pap, Zhi and Yu. Ba: Its land is near Chongqing today; Fish: Its land is in Fengjie District today; Fructus Aurantii: It is located in Gigi Lai Township, 45 miles west of Fuling. During the clan and tribe period, longevity belongs to Fructus Aurantii, Liangzhou and Pakistan. Qin Shihuang unified the six countries (22 BC1) and set up 36 counties. Changshou County belongs to Ba County. "Justice" annals: "Now Fuzhou is a county, south of the Yangtze River". "Gongzhi" says: "Administer the counties such as Fuling and Changshou today". The county is located in Gigi Lai Township, 45 miles west of Fuling City. During the Western Han Dynasty, the Eastern Han Dynasty, the Three Kingdoms, the Shu Han Dynasty and the Western Jin Dynasty, Changshou County was subordinate to Zhi County and Fuling County. During the Eastern Jin Dynasty (AD 347-420), Huan Wen was in Pingshuo, and the old county was Fuling County. The county moved to the neighboring Xikou (now Luo Qi Town, Jiangbei District). In September of the sixth year of Ming Hongwu, Ming Yuzhen renamed Lewen County as Changshou County. There is Changshou Mountain in the north of the county, and those who live under it live a long life, hence the name. Zhi Ming: Guantan Temple in Renhechang, Changshou County in the second year of Hongwu. Tomorrow, the county magistrate will move to Tonggukan, next to the Yangtze River, with a deep outer ring.
