"Once upon a time, in the Yellow Emperor, I was born with a god, weak and eloquent, young and attached, long and sensitive, and successful." Starting from Huangdi Neijing, the opening of Huangdi Neijing is an introduction to Huangdi, which leads to the dialogue between Huangdi and Shi Tian Qi Bo. The 26 words about the growth history of the Yellow Emperor seem simple, but in fact they have profound implications and have a lot of enlightenment for modern people.
Born sacred
Chinese medicine believes that the heart hides the spirit and is connected with the spirit. Huang Di was born as a god, which means that he was born with a gift to communicate with heaven and earth. "Weak" means "weak crown", that is, before the age of twenty. Confucianism stresses three principles-establishing morality, making statements and making contributions. Speaking is regarded as a major task in life to pursue and complete. Huangdi Neijing is a treasure handed down from mouth to heart.
Huangdi's "weak eloquence" shows that he is knowledgeable. Before he was twenty years old, he could say it and say some classic words. "Young loyalty to Qi" means that the Yellow Emperor studied with many masters since childhood and got their words and deeds. Therefore, Huangdi Neijing runs through "Huangdi asks Qibo" all the time, and Qibo is the teacher of Shi Tian and Tian Zi.
Long and sensitive
"Qi sinks in the abdomen", that is, "a guilty conscience leads to visceral excess", that is, "a guilty conscience leads to a full abdomen" in the Book of Changes. Heart corresponds to deviation from divination, and deviation is fire, so we often say that heart is fire. Kidney corresponds to divination, which means water, and kidney water also means kidney essence. "Empty the abdomen" shows that the abdomen is solid, heavy and can be rooted again. That's what one yin and one yang say. There is reality and emptiness, and the heart is fire and the fire is emptiness, so we should "empty its heart".
People who really know how to keep in good health are empty inside, not blinded by five desires and six dusts, and at the same time know how to hide and nourish kidney essence. "Dunmin" refers to the good state of the intersection of heart and kidney, "Dunmin" means that kidney essence is sufficient, "Min" refers to the wisdom born from being careful in a virtual and static state, and the response is a keen attitude towards others.
Ascend to heaven successfully
Ascension to Heaven tells the story that after the Yellow Emperor unified the world, he went to the mountains to practice, and then a dragon descended from the sky and took him to the Heavenly Palace. Some people who practice with him follow him. It sounds like telling a story, but it is actually showing the kung fu of Taoist practice. The Yellow Emperor retired with his soul and became superb. Later, Huangdi Neijing will also talk about the four realms of Taoist practice. The highest state of a "true saint" is a real person who can walk between heaven and earth and listen to the outside world.
