Taoist thought is an ideological system with yin and yang as the core, the doctrine of the mean as the main body and the purpose of conforming to nature; Representative figures are Lao Dan, Zhuang Zhou and Hong Yingming.
China culture has a long history, and there are countless ancient books, but they are seriously scattered. Although there are many traces of Taoist thoughts, it seems that the only pure but not miscellaneous ones are Tao Te Ching, Zhuangzi and Caigen Tan-the rest of Taoist classics are either not profound enough or too miscellaneous to be equal to them.
People love to say "forever" and "infinite", but they don't know that time can't last forever and space can't last forever-what can be endless? No matter how high the mountain is, there is a top, and no matter how deep the water is, there is a bottom: the best culture in the world comes from China; The highest wisdom of mankind comes from Taoism.
The higher the song, the less peacemakers there are; The higher the wisdom, the rarer the knower. And the whiter the clothes, the easier it is to pollute; The higher you speak, the more misunderstandings you have. Taoist classics are either refined in language and lofty in realm, or simple in language and profound in meaning: if they are literal, it is difficult to understand their essence. -especially "nothing" is often not empty, but somewhere in between.
The harmony between Yin and Yu lasted for a long time. Between yin and yang, impartiality is the most stable state of everything. The golden mean is easy to understand; The heart of the sun is human nature: saints judge others by themselves, so they preach the beauty of adults wholeheartedly.
Taoist thought is often labeled as "negative", so it has been criticized. From hot to warm, you feel water-cooled; First cold, then warm, then feel hot water. Taoism attaches importance to the golden mean; Neither actively help the world, nor passively avoid the world-different minds, different eyes.
The faster things go, the sooner they will end; The slower things grow, the later they die. Leaving sin will delay the evolution of mankind; Meritorious service will accelerate the demise of mankind. Sages can't bear to do great evil and dare not do great good, so their virtue is mediocre; I don't want to be mediocre, and I dare not shine, so let's talk about Hyunri.
Doing one thing without having a significant impact on human evolution-this is inaction. Therefore, saints only talk and don't do it; Only morality, not merit. But ordinary people, if they don't have a job, can't stand on the world: therefore, the concept of fame and fortune can't be too heavy or too light. Harmless and useless in the world; More than enough to support the family, less than enough to help the world: such an ordinary industry, a mediocre generation, is a blessing of heaven and earth, is a blessing of mankind.
In addition to harmony with heaven, Taoism also pays attention to obeying orders. You know, fate has its own adaptation and its own struggle. If you have no choice but to face adversity, you should accept it frankly. If you can change it, try to reverse it. We should not be interested in luxury or poverty in life.
"Caigen Tan" has a cloud: "The similarity of feelings is sexual, but giving up feelings is intangible; The public place of desire is rationality, and the reason for giving up desire is not clear. Therefore, a gentleman can't extinguish his feelings, only things are wrong; You can't have it, but you don't want it. " If the heart does not die, it will never stop: therefore, saints seek internal preparation and are indifferent to the outside; Not tired, not dead.
Taoism's "absolute holiness and absolute forbearance" and "absolute benevolence and righteousness" are aimed at secular wisdom and benevolence-omnipotent, impossible to be sacred, and there is no need to abandon wisdom; With virtue, benevolence is not heavy and righteousness is not thick.
The "weakness" advocated by Lao Dan is actually weak in appearance, but strong in heart. If you are soft inside and rigid outside, you will be weak and timid; Everyone is just, but he has a bad temper. If the external strength is weak, the internal weakness will hurt others. Therefore, nature should be easy-going and heart is indispensable; Externally, there should be vigor, but internally, there should be no lack of shrewdness.
In addition, Taoism pays special attention to health preservation, so it is quite puzzling: you have looked down on life and death, why are you still obsessed with longevity? As we all know, the health of smart people is intended to prevent diseases and Xiu De; As for life, let it be: life is precious, not long.
-it will be easier to avoid these misunderstandings and understand Taoist thought. Of course, the higher the knowledge, the more difficult it is to express; Reading classics requires understanding. The ancients said, "Books are not full of words, but words are not full of meaning." If you can understand, you don't have to weigh your words; For ordinary people, although there are many Taoist classics, the main points are nothing more than the doctrine of the mean.
