Zou Yan (19 15 ——), the founding major general of China People's Liberation Army, is party member, a producer of China. Xia Guang Village, Chongxian Township, Xingguo County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. He has served as deputy director and political commissar of the Political Department of shenyang military area command, member of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of China, and representative of the Ninth and Eleventh National Congresses of the Chinese Production Party. He was awarded the rank of major general in 1955.
