Pressing the auricular navicular can relieve upper limb discomfort (see the figure below 1).
The auricle corresponds to the upper limbs of the human body, from top to bottom are fingers, wrists, elbows, shoulders and collarbone.
People with upper limb discomfort such as scapulohumeral periarthritis, tennis elbow, wrist pain and finger numbness often have pain reaction points at the ear boat.
? Manipulation: you can find the pain reaction point in the ear canal area, press and knead with your thumb and forefinger, or directly press the inside and outside of the ear canal with your thumb and forefinger.
Press the helix to condition the trunk and lower limbs (see Figure 2).
The spiral corresponds to a part of the human torso. The upper 2/5 is lumbosacral vertebra, the middle 2/5 is thoracic vertebra, and the lower 1/5 is cervical vertebra. Many people with backache and neck pain can press here more.
There are also two bifurcations on the helix, corresponding to the buttocks, sciatic nerve and lower limbs respectively. Sciatica, knee arthritis, heel pain and other people. You can press here more.
? Manipulation: You can directly pinch these parts with your nails, or find the most painful parts near the acupoints, or push and knead your thumb and forefinger up and down along the helix with your hands empty until the helix is congested and feverish. All these methods can play the role of massage.
? Tip: When you massage your ears, you don't have to demand the exact location of the acupuncture points, but stimulate the corresponding acupuncture points in your ears. When operating, you should feel slight pain or burning sensation, and it is not advisable to forcibly press and knead.
Under normal circumstances, press and knead once in the morning and evening, dozens of times each time. Pregnant women are not recommended to try.
