1937, Master Miao Zhi realized that the world was changing and life was impermanent, and decided to become a monk. He is also a barber teacher at Gushiyan Temple in Fugong Town, Longhai County, Fujian Province. In the late 1930s, he was instructed by the old monk Xu Yun at Yongquan Temple in Gushan, Fuzhou.
Master Miao Zhi devoted his life to practicing the' Pharmacist Law'. The Buddhist regimen he advocated is:' Three Diligences': Brain Diligence, Hand Diligence and Foot Diligence; Three quietness': Zen, quietness and quietness; Three dullness': look down on power, money and age; Sanle': Helping others is fun, and contentment is always happy. It not only contains the connotation of health preservation and quiet rest, but also contains the truth of Buddhism's compassion to help the world, which is worth learning from in today's world.
When you are young, you are tempered, but when you are old, you are not afraid of wind and frost. His bumpy experience and ill-fated fate made his will to survive extremely tough. "I have experienced many things, and I can treat the grievances and disputes in the world with a tolerant and peaceful attitude, and I will not worry about myself for no reason. He once said such things, which shows that he is open-minded and open-minded. Cai Songcang insisted on doing good deeds. He often said, "Seek enlightenment and distress, and giving makes the heart calm and bright. ".」
Monk Miao Zhi passed away on 28 1 2003. On the 26th day of the first month, the teacher's father told his disciples that he would "leave" in two days. Disciples think that Master Miao Zhi is not abnormal, which is a joke. Miao Zhi said to his disciples seriously, asking to prepare things after death. Sure enough, two days later, Monk Miaozhi died in Xiangguang Buddhist Hall with his eyes narrowed on his kind face.
According to Miao Zhi's instructions, disciple asked Master Jiuhuashan to sit in a big vat, which was filled with charcoal, sandalwood, lime and other raw materials, and then sealed and bricked. After sitting in the jar for three years, that is, when the jar was opened on the 28th day of the first month of 2006, his body was intact and his face was as fresh as life. Incredibly, his hair and nails grew back, and his nails grew 2 cm. Master Yuan Zhi of Minnan Buddhist College in Xiamen named Miao Anzhi the "body monk". At the end of 2006, Beixing Temple put gold on Miaozhi's body monk, using gold foil material and eight layers of gold. After gold, the body is better protected.
