By using the methods of literature, questionnaire and interview, this paper investigates the present situation of fitness yoga courses in Beijing 15 universities. The results show that fitness yoga is favored by more and more female college students, and it is inevitable that fitness yoga will enter the current college physical education class as a new sport. According to the psychological and physiological characteristics of college girls, it is necessary to carry out fitness yoga courses in colleges and universities.

Yoga originated in India and is popular all over the world. Yoga is balanced, harmonious and clean, which strengthens the body and mind of practitioners. Yoga practice can concentrate and calm people's scattered spirit. Yoga practice pays attention to physical strength first, and then requires the unity of body and mind. Long-term practice of yoga can balance people's body and mind, make people relax, thus eliminating fatigue and reducing stress. Yoga practice is slow and gentle, and does not overdraw cardiopulmonary function and physical strength [1]. It has brought many benefits to practitioners from shaping, fitness, ideology and lifestyle. It is an efficient and meaningful exercise, and it is the most suitable way for lifelong exercise in all fitness programs. With what? Health first? 、? People-oriented? With the deepening of educational development concept, the reform of physical education teaching in colleges and universities has been widely carried out. The promulgation of "National Physical Education Curriculum Teaching Guidance Outline" provides a basis for school physical education teaching reform. As a new sport, fitness yoga attracts more and more fitness enthusiasts with its unique fitness effect. Is gradually entering the university campus, becoming one of the favorite sports of female college students. The development of fitness yoga course in physical education class in colleges and universities is consistent with the spirit of the Outline, and it is necessary and feasible to carry out fitness yoga course in colleges and universities.

3. Analysis and discussion

3. 1 Common phenomenon in traditional physical education class teaching in colleges and universities.

Female college students are in adolescence. Due to the changes of body shape, physiological function and psychological activities, they pursue beauty and have a strong desire for new skills, but they are not interested in traditional physical education class, so they always have it in teaching. Afraid of suffering? 、? Afraid of getting hurt? The phenomenon of low learning enthusiasm and initiative leads to the bad phenomenon of standing, mixing and skipping classes. In order to change this situation, we should follow the psychological and physiological characteristics of college girls. Health first? 、? People-oriented? According to the concept of educational development and the spirit of National Physical Education Curriculum Syllabus, we should reform school physical education, combine physical education with health education, innovate physical education teaching content, and improve students' interest and enthusiasm in physical education. In the spirit of the Outline, it is necessary and feasible to carry out fitness yoga courses in colleges and universities.

3.2 Fitness Yoga is deeply loved by female college students.

Through a survey of 50 female college students in Beijing Normal University in 2004, 2005 and 2006/kloc-0? The most interesting sport? The survey shows that from the statistical data of the questionnaire, the interest trends of female college students in sports are: fitness yoga accounts for 29.4%, aerobics accounts for 25.3%, and physical exercise accounts for 2 1.3%. Obviously, sports that can shape physical beauty and have low antagonism are very popular among female college students, and fitness yoga ranks first, which fully shows that fitness yoga is loved by more and more female college students. In addition, through personal experience, observation and conversation with students after class, we know that students are enthusiastic in class and practice seriously, and can practice according to the teacher's requirements. Want me to learn? For what? I want to learn? And then what? I want to learn? The evaluation of fitness yoga course after class is also very good. Everyone feels comfortable, happy and relaxed, which fully shows that fitness yoga, as a new physical education teaching content, has been favored by more and more female college students. Therefore, it is feasible to carry out fitness yoga courses in colleges and universities.

3.3 The fitness effect of yoga contributes to the healthy development of female college students' body and mind.

Yoga actions such as breathing, posture, meditation and relaxation can achieve the effects of stretching bones and muscles, relaxing body and mind, strengthening body and dredging meridians, so that practitioners can eliminate fatigue and relieve stress while exercising [2]. In the fitness yoga class, students practice yoga posture and meditation by listening to soft music and the teacher's gentle voice in a quiet environment, slowly concentrate, adjust their breathing, make their breathing even and slow, eliminate distractions, open their hearts, and release the pressure in life and study, so as to develop a positive, optimistic and healthy attitude towards life and finally achieve physical and mental health, which is particularly important for female college students. The biggest function of yoga is to adjust the mentality. Practicing yoga can make the brain get a full rest, the unpleasant feeling caused by natural autonomic nerves will disappear without a trace, and the original impatient personality will be improved, thus promoting the balanced development of body and mind. With the increasing social competition and the rapid development of science and culture, today's college students are under increasing academic pressure, interpersonal pressure and employment pressure, which seriously affects their physical and mental health. Therefore, the establishment of a scientific, civilized and healthy modern lifestyle and the pursuit of a healthy study life have become an important demand of college students, especially female college students. Psychological research shows that the number of female students with psychological problems in colleges and universities is higher than that of male students, and the number of female students suffering from psychological diseases in various departments is much higher than that in physical education departments and art departments. Relevant research shows that female college students can't solve all kinds of puzzles and troubles in time due to the lack of college experience, the limitation of college courses and the closure of psychological problems, thus affecting their physical and mental health. Fitness yoga aims at the physiological characteristics of women's soft body, which can decompose stress through practice and make the body and mind develop in a balanced way. The teaching contents and ideas cater to the cultivation of female college students' self-regulation ability. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out fitness yoga courses in colleges and universities.

3.4 Fitness Yoga is helpful to the cultivation of female college students' lifelong sports concept.

It is easy to learn, and it is not limited by venue, time and number of people when practicing. It is suitable for both group practice and individual self-practice.
