In Huangdi Neijing, it is mentioned that "righteousness should be kept inside, evil should not be done, and its poison gas should be avoided." The background of this sentence is the epidemic disease of the dialogue between the Yellow Emperor and Qi Bo, who put forward two epidemic prevention principles. If epidemics do not spread to each other, first, we must maintain healthy qi so that evil spirits cannot be violated; Second, we must avoid its poisonous gas.
In this kind of pneumonia, elderly people with basic diseases are more likely to get sick, and it is more difficult to cure after getting sick. It can be seen that for the elderly with insufficient vital qi, improving vital qi is one of the ways to prevent diseases.
So how to adjust the five zang-organs to keep healthy qi?
Tonifying lung qi
Many CT images of this kind of pneumonia patients have "white lungs", and the impact on the lungs is obvious, so the first step is to replenish lung qi.
Simply judge whether lung qi is sufficient.
When you feel chest tightness, shortness of breath or wheezing, you can point at Zhongfu and Yunmen points by hand. Yunmen acupoint is located on the inside of shoulder joint, in the depression below clavicle; Zhongfu point is one inch below Yunmen point, and you can press the two points together with three fingers.
At the scene, Director Fu led us to do a set of chest exercises that can change the heart and lung function and improve the vital capacity.
Thoracotomy and gas-saving exercises
1, cut to the chase
Legs lunge forward, palms rush forward, thumbs extend backwards to both sides to the maximum extent, and take five deep breaths; When inhaling, the abdomen expands, and when exhaling, the arm abduction increases.
2. Bow and arrow sculpture
Do a lateral lunge first, then lift with one hand straight, and push with the other hand along the outside of the thumb and along the lung meridian in the direction of Zhongfu Yunmen; At the same time, try to stretch the muscles near the lung meridian and massage Zhongfu and Yunmen points.
3, including chest pull back
Spread your arms back and hold your chest open, and take five deep breaths when you expand to the maximum; Then hold your chest out, put your arms around your shoulders and take five deep breaths.
The above three exercises can be repeated 5- 10 times per class and twice a day according to your own situation.
In addition to chest exercises, there is also a convenient exercise tool in the bathroom, which is a towel. Director Fu taught a simple and easy-to-learn cardio-pulmonary towel exercise.
Strong cardio-pulmonary towel exercise
1, raise your arm
Keep your arms straight and take a deep breath 10 times. When inhaling, your chest and abdomen bulge slowly, and when exhaling, relax.
2. Stretch your arms to the side
Push your arms up, lean to one side, and take a deep breath 10 times; Fall to the other side and take the same deep breath 10 times.
Turn your arm around.
Push your arms forward, push your feet forward, keep your hips still, turn to one side and take a deep breath 10 times; Turn to the other side and take a deep breath 10 times. When doing this, pay attention to keep your crotch still.
4. Raise your arm and throw the ball
Push your arms hard, push your body back and take a deep breath 10 times; Then put down your arm and take a deep breath 10 times. Old people or people with poor waist can bend their knees properly and pay attention to falling when leaning back.
Director Fu reminded that these actions must be done step by step. If you feel tired, you can do it twice first, and then slowly increase the workload.
Nourish the heart
Manifestations of deficiency of heart qi: palpitation, shortness of breath, insomnia, dreaminess, anxiety and depression.
The heart governs the gods, and it can soothe the nerves by regulating breathing. Director Fu teaches you a set of breathing exercises, so you can feel at home.
Three-tone breathing method
Sit quietly by the bed, close your eyes and calm yourself down. Then press Guanyuan point with one hand and feel your breath. Inhale and feel Guanyuan push up, then exhale slowly and lengthen the breathing rhythm. According to your own feelings, try to control your breathing within 10 times per minute, and exercise 3 times a day for 5- 10 minutes each time.
We can judge whether our breathing is correct through two acupoints:
You can press Guanyuan point when inhaling. Guanyuan point is at the position of four fingers under the navel. If Guanyuan feels upward when inhaling, it means that the air intake is normal.
We can also press Shenshu point on the back of the waist, which is located on both sides of Mingmen point opposite the navel 1.5 inch. When we inhale, if Shenshu points feel upward, it also means that the intake is normal.
