Stomach fever. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that stomach heat is mostly caused by excessive consumption of fried and hot food, which is caused by pathogenic heat, manifested as thirst, bitter taste, bad breath, dry mouth, oral erosion, swollen gums, short urine and constipation. There are four common syndromes of stomach heat in clinic, which are stagnation of liver and stomach (burning pain in the upper abdomen, pantothenic acid, bitter taste and irritability), damp-heat in the spleen and stomach (loss of appetite, fatigue, yellow and greasy tongue coating), epigastritis (swollen gums, dry mouth and bad breath) and excessive fire due to yin deficiency (dull pain in the upper abdomen, decreased diet and dry mouth). Stomach fire, liver and stomach stagnation, epigastric pain must clear away heat and purge fire, spleen and stomach damp-heat need to clear away heat and damp, and yin deficiency and fire excess need to nourish yin and reduce fire.
Sun Yongshun suggested that people with stomach heat should have a light diet, avoid spicy, fried, barbecue and other foods, try to drink porridge and eat mung bean porridge, which has the effect of clearing fire and eliminating dampness; Eat more vegetables to help gastrointestinal peristalsis and digestion; Avoid cold products, such as ice cream, because cold food can not reduce fire, but will harm gastrointestinal function. Recommend several dietotherapy remedies: 1. Burdock and winter melon soup: fresh burdock and winter melon soup, eat vegetables and drink soup. 2. Bitter gourd tomato soup: Bitter gourd 100g, blanch in boiling water, slice, put a little oil to boil, stir-fry bitter gourd, wash tomatoes, cut crescent slices and stir-fry, add a little salt and seasoning, stir-fry and add boiled soup. Stomach cold. When the weather gets cold, the stomach often has cold syndrome. Once the spleen and stomach are cold, it will easily lead to the dereliction of duty of transport and transformation function, mainly manifested as pale face, loss of appetite, loose stool, abdominal distension, bowel sounds, tepid hands and feet, and even diarrhea and indigestion in severe cases. Sun Yongshun said that the main causes of stomach cold are mostly related to diet, such as overeating, greed for cold, frequent eating with cold and hot, and irregular diet.
Sun Yongshun suggested that people with cold stomachs should pay attention to "keeping warm and keeping fit". 1. Keep your diet warm. Usually, eat more yang-nourishing foods, such as leeks, mutton, lettuce, garlic sprouts, shallots, bean sprouts, dates, yams, cherries and so on. 2. Get more sunshine. A proper amount of sunshine every day can absorb the yang of nature and transform it into the yang of the body. However, it should be reminded that in winter, we should pay attention to avoiding the wind under the sun for about 30 minutes every day.
