Ouyangzhan former residence
Ouyang Zhan (756-800) was born in Quanzhou, Fujian. Born in Panhu, Jinjiang (now Chidian Town, Jinjiang City), he followed his mother to Gaogaishan, Nan 'an (now Shishan Town) and then settled in Chengxi Street, Quanzhou City. He was smart and studious when he was young. He doesn't like playing with children, but only likes reading, reciting poems and writing poems. When he was young, he had many friends. In Quanshan (Qingyuan Mountain), he made meritorious service with Lin Zao and Lin Yun brothers. Fujian observers often roll, dare to remonstrate, and are demoted to other prime ministers of Quanzhou, Jiang Gongfu (assistant minister). Before and after he served as the secretariat of Quanzhou, officials of Xue Bo and Xideng County attached great importance to him, hoping that he would make a name for himself. So, he gradually realized that an official in the imperial examination might be a "teaching assistant" to facilitate Tang Dezong to travel west to Chang 'an (now Xi 'an, Shaanxi) in the second year of Zhenyuan (786) and wait for six years. In the eighth year of Zhenyuan, Lu Zhi, a famous minister, took part in the examiner's examination. He was promoted to the top of high school with Han Yu and others with excellent results, and was called the top of the "Dragon and Tiger List". Ouyang Zhan jumped to the second place in the first subject, becoming the first scholar in Quanzhou history and the first scholar in Fujian history.

Since then, Ouyang Zhan has served as the teaching assistant of the four schools in imperial academy, and "reputation is destroyed by others" to train recommended talents; He also advocated the "ancient prose movement" with poets and writers such as Han Yu, Liu Zongyuan and Liu Yuxi to promote the development of prose in the Tang Dynasty. He is a knowledgeable scholar with rich works, including Four Books of Ouyang handed down from generation to generation. The Zhou Ji of Ouyang Xing compiled by contemporary people contains 65,438+040 poems, words, notes, biographies, inscriptions, eulogies, discourses, prefaces and books of Ouyang Xing. He occupies a particularly important historical position in the history of Fujian's cultural development and has a great influence on Fujian's cultural and educational undertakings in later generations. He played a pioneering role and was praised by later generations as "the father of Fujian literature" and "the teacher of Fujian literature".

Ouyang Zhan died young and died in Chang 'an at the age of 44. Relatives, teachers and friends are very sad. Han Yu lamented that he was "disrespectful before" and feared that he would be "disrespectful after", and wrote "Ouyang Sheng's funeral" to express his deep condolences.

Ouyang Zhan's former residence is on the west side of the northern section of Jiadi Lane in Quanzhou West Street, and the newly-built Jiadi Palace is on the east bank of Zhancuo Mountain. Because of its long history, the former residence has long been abandoned, and there is no detailed record in local chronicles and Ouyang's genealogy. The specific time, original area, architectural structure and interior furnishings of Ouyang Zhan's former residence in Jiadi Lane are unknown. However, it can be speculated that Ouyang Zhan moved here in the eighth year of Zhenyuan in Tang Dezong (792), and then built a house next to this hill. After he and his wife died, a son and grandson settled here again to worship their ancestors. Later generations named this lane and this mountain Zhancuo Mountain or Ouyang Shan to commemorate Ouyang Zhan's famine in Quanzhou Kaike Jinshi and Fujian Jiadi Jinshi.

The ruins of Ouyang Zhan's former residence are surrounded by desolate fields or vegetable gardens, and longan is lush and surrounded on all sides. The former residence faces the east, and the stone lintel of the gate is engraved with "Old Residence of Mr. Ouyang Zhouxing". The main hall is dedicated to the full-body statues of Ouyang Zhan and Mrs. Lin, and Zhu Song's words in the Southern Song Dynasty are hung on both sides: "The cause is through the state, and the talents in Bohai are lucky; Article, text is the first. " There is an ancient well behind the former residence with clear water depth. 1958 after the establishment of Yuanhetang candied fruit factory, Ouyang Zhan's former residence was completely abandoned, and some homesteads were used by the factory to build staff quarters.

1June, 984, Quanzhou Cultural Management Committee erected a stone tablet of "Ouyang Zhan's former residence site" on the north side of the main entrance of Ouyang Zhan's former residence towards Jiadi Lane. In June, 2002, the old man in Jiadi Lane rebuilt Jiadi Palace in front of his former residence to commemorate Baosheng the Great. Later, a two-story building was built behind the main hall.

In 2004, Quanzhou Ouyang clan cooperated with Jiadi Palace to build the second and third floors in the back building of the palace as the exhibition hall of Ouyang Zhan's former residence. The museum covers an area of about 100 square meter and has 1 room. Rectangular, wide and long from east to west, slightly narrow and short from north to south. It is made of cement, paved with slate bricks, surrounded by square stone pillars and with a flat roof. On the east side is the gate of the museum, and the Caoshimen is engraved with the "Exhibition Hall of Ouyang Zhan's Former Residence"; There are green grass on both sides, and the stone couplets are engraved with praise couplets inscribed by Zhu. The name of the museum and the couplet were inscribed by Zhou, then vice mayor of Quanzhou, and engraved in regular script.

There is a long table in the museum, facing south, with Ouyang Zhan's bronze clay sculpture on it. On the two stone pillars in front of the altar hung a pair of running script couplets written by Ouyang Zong and Liu Changyan, a scholar in Nan 'an in the Northern Song Dynasty: "Rank first in the dragon and tiger list in one fell swoop; Ten years of Phoenix Pool. " Above the center of the south wall hangs a long wooden plaque with regular script in black and white background. In the Ming Dynasty, Huang Fengxiang, a native of Quanzhou, a scholar of second grade and a minister of rites, wrote a couplet with stone tablets hanging on both sides under a long wooden plaque: "The morality of the article comes first, and the smoke becomes a leopard; The sound and capacity of the book are there, and a niche is like a firefly ",with white characters and black background;" There is a picture frame hanging on the east side of the south wall, with the regular script of Chen Xiangyao, a professor of Chinese Department of Fujian Normal University: "Wenzong in Tang Dynasty was called five friends with Liu Han; Fujian and Xinjiang are the first, and Liao and Liu Tong are the three sages. " There is also a 1 cabinet in the museum, which displays Ouyang Zhan's works "Ouyang Si Men Ji", Ouyang's genealogy, modern studies and so on.
