After 50, remember what you can't eat and what you can't do.
When you get older, your body's heat dissipation ability will get worse, which makes you prone to heatstroke. So don't think it is healthy to work at home and sweat a little. This is not right. If it is not found or rescued in time, it is likely to be life-threatening. The hot summer is the season of high incidence of many diseases, especially the middle-aged and elderly people after 50 years old, who are in a special period and need to pay more attention to their health. During the dog days, everyone must be fully prepared, remember that two don't eat and three don't do, stay healthy and get sick less.

First, don't eat too much overnight food. Some middle-aged and elderly people are very frugal and don't want to throw away leftover food. When they ate the next day, they didn't heat it thoroughly, which was bad for their health. I suggest you cook as little as possible in summer and try to eat it all at once. If you can't finish it, put it in the refrigerator in time, and eat it as soon as possible, while it is hot, and eat it after a long time.

Second, don't eat too greasy in hot weather, and have a light diet. In hot summer, the appetite of the elderly will decrease, especially for many people with bad stomachs. Don't eat too greasy and salty, it will damage our gastric mucosa, and don't eat too much to increase the burden on the digestive tract.

Apart from these two points, there are three things to be done less.

First of all, the temperature of the air conditioner should not be too low, let alone blown directly on the air conditioner. It is very hot in summer, and air conditioning can help us cool down and prevent heatstroke. However, the temperature should not be too low, let alone sweating. When the weather is hot, our sweat holes are all open to eliminate the heat in the body. If the air conditioner is blown directly, it is easy to bring physical discomfort, and many elderly people have it themselves.

Second, don't take a cold bath. You will sweat a lot in dog days. Many people just want to take a cold shower to cool off. Because when it is hot, our skin blood vessels dilate, and contact with cold water at once can easily lead to vasoconstriction. If you already have high blood pressure and heart disease, you are prone to danger, so it is best to take a warm bath, wash your face and slowly cool down.

Third, don't sit still. When it is hot, many people don't want to move. They always sit and watch their mobile phones. But sedentary will affect the blood circulation of our legs and increase the risk of venous thrombosis, especially for friends with hypertension and hyperlipidemia. I suggest that you can exercise at home in hot weather, or go out for exercise in the morning and evening, pay attention to replenish water and prevent heatstroke.
