Lotus Peak, the main peak of Lotus Mountain, is 562 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in Shantou. 1987 the relevant departments of towns and counties asked the provincial geological team to drill the first well and obtained a series of data. After that, Yuedong Hydrogeological Engineering Company made another exploration, and found out that Lianhuashan Hot Spring Resort is located in the only central area in eastern Guangdong which is rich in medium-temperature fresh water resources. Cl-Na brackish water was formed in a specific closed environment, and it is an offshore medium-temperature brackish hot mineral spring with the whole hot spring area of 1 10 hectare. According to the analysis of water quality, the content of chloride is 6 13.5mg/L, the content of metasilicate is 79.8mg/L, and the content of strontium is10.2 mg/L. It also contains more than ten other trace elements needed by human body, such as fluorine and radon. The water quality has the characteristics of hot mineral water for bathing. It has a unique curative effect on neuropathic bone pain, digestive tract, internal rheumatism and other diseases, and can play a health care role in relaxing tendons and activating collaterals, strengthening the body, caring skin and prolonging life. This folk water legend has the saying that Zen soup is holy water, so Lotus Mountain Hot Spring is also called Lotus Divine Spring. In order to get more water than the overflow, the hot mineral spring is taken from the surface 120 meters deep, and the spring water is pumped to each bubble pool by a deep water pump.
