The project will plan the layout of "one core, one corridor and many belts" around Guojiachong Reservoir and Canal Park. Upon completion, it will form a large-scale landscape garden-style Yiling new city integrating leisure tourism, health care, ecological protection, folk culture appreciation, commercial complex and high-end residence. At the same time, it will also support the construction of kindergartens, primary schools, conference hotels and headquarters parks. At the beginning of planning, the project was adapted to local conditions, and the surrounding natural resources and landforms were fully considered. The overall architectural form is to conform to the topographic layout, with high-rise residential buildings arranged by mountains and low-density residential buildings arranged by water, forming a semi-closed, mountain-side and water-side trend from northwest to southeast. The whole project is built according to the canal and lives next to Mengze Lake. This canal has a long history. From Tangduhe Reservoir to the Yangtze River entrance of Wanshou Bridge, the canal is more than 30 kilometers long. From 1962 to 2002, it has been the main water supply source in Yichang for 40 years, so it is also called "mother river", which has nourished Yichang people for 40 years. However, with the official operation of dongyi project, the water source of Yichang No.1 waterworks was changed from canal to Guanzhuang reservoir of Dongfeng canal, and the status of the canal was reduced from the original "main water supply source of Yichang city" to "important standby domestic water source", and the canal gradually faded out of people's sight. With the urban development pattern of the northern extension of Yichang and the rise of the new city in Dongcheng experimental area, the restoration and development of the canal has once again attracted the attention of the government. In a few years, the canal will return to the sight of Yichang people. As a state-owned enterprise, United Investment Group has the honor to undertake the restoration and development of the canal. The canal twists and turns, just like the "Galaxy" echoing Mengze Lake. Combined with the mountain park of the project, it naturally forms an ecological green lung oxygen bar, so the case is named "Yinhe Park".
