Eight meetings and eight pulses
The "Eight-Meeting Point" was first founded in a group of specific acupoints, which has always been valued by doctors in past dynasties. These eight specific acupoints can not only treat diseases in their meridians, but also have their special therapeutic effects. For example, Zhangmen is a dirty point, because all the five internal organs belong to the spleen, which is the point of the spleen; Zhongwan is the meeting point of fu-organs, because all six fu-organs belong to the stomach and are the meeting point of qi, because it is the meeting point of zong-qi and pericardium.

In clinical practice, all diseases and syndromes related to these eight acupoints can be treated at eight acupoints. For example, Zhang Men was selected for the disease of the heart, Zhong Wan was selected for the disease of the heart, and blood was taken from various hemorrhagic diseases to Shu Ge. In addition, these eight acupoints can also treat some fevers.

① Eight acupoints where viscera, viscera, qi, blood, tendons, pulse, bone and marrow converge. Also known as eight o'clock. "Forty-five Difficult Classics": "Who can speak it eight times? However, we will reconvene Taicang (Zhongyu), Zang Huiwei Ji (Zhangmen), Hui Jin Yanglingquan, Muhui Juegu (Hanging Bell), Xuehui Shu Ge, Guhui Dayi, Maihui Taiyuan, and Qihui Sanjiao Yijin (Tan Zhong). " If fever is included, take the cavitation of the meeting as an example. "At present, clinical application is not limited to fever, and all diseases related to eight can be selected according to the situation.

② Acupoint name: Taiyuan's "Thousand Women's Essential Prescriptions": "Crazy is easy to scold, moxibustion grows with the age, and the point is five points below Yangming." The Map of Strange Points of Modern Acupuncture and Moxibustion Meridian locates this point at the back of hand, 0.5 inch below the middle point of snuff nest (Yangxi). Treat madness, cataract, myopia, hypertension, apoplexy, ovarian diseases, etc.

③ Eight meridians meet at eight points. "Expressing Friends": "Eight pulses always meet eight meetings, which is a discipline." See the intersection of eight veins.

The formula of the song dynasty attached to the point of Bahui: the five internal organs must swell in the intestine, the qi must swell in the blood, the tendons must be too deep in the yang pulse, and the bones will be too large (hanging bells).

Name: Meridian genus of Bahui point.

Zangzhangmen Liver Meridian (ventrolateral, 1 1 subcostal)

Renmai (anterior midline, 4 inches above umbilicus)

Ren meridian is in qi (anterior median line, flat between the fourth ribs)

Xuegeshu bladder meridian (back, under spinous process of the seventh thoracic vertebra, open laterally 1.5 inch)

Jinyang Lingquan Gallbladder Meridian (lateral leg, when fibular head is pressed down)

Pulse Taiyuan Lung Meridian (radial side of wrist-palm transverse striation, where radial artery beats)

Bladder meridian (back, 1 below spinous process of thoracic vertebra, open laterally 1.5 inch)

Biliary channel of medullary bone (lateral leg, 3 inches above lateral ankle tip, anterior fibula)

The point where the eight veins intersect is also called the Eight Points of Crossing Meridian. Its name was first seen in Song Huazi's Flowing Eight Points. This book has been lost, and its content was collected by Dou Hanqing in the Guide to Acupuncture and Meridian, so some people called it "Dou's Eight Points". In his book, Dou discusses the origin, location, meridian tropism, acupoint selection, examples of treating diseases, and methods of matching acupoints according to symptoms. Although it is not clearly pointed out that a certain acupoint causes a certain pulse condition, it has been recognized that eight acupoints are related to eight strange meridians. Since then, a poem named Eight Points at the Intersection of Meridians was recorded for the first time in Chun Liu's Classic of Medicine (Volume III) in the Ming Dynasty: "Gongsun has a pulse, the stomach and the heart, and the Neiguan is the same as the lower dimension. The gallbladder meridian is connected with the pulse, and the eye of Yang Wei is sharp and close to the outside. The neck of the governor vein in Houxi is included, and Shenmaiyang is also accessible. There is no pulse leading to the lung system, and the yin squats in the throat of the diaphragm. " Xu Feng has made outstanding contributions to the clinical application of Eight Points. He first put forward the name of "Eight Points at the Intersection of Eight Veins" in the book Acupuncture and Moxibustion. On the basis of rearranging predecessors' achievements, he revised and enriched the scope of eight points' indications, added "corresponding points" on the basis of "main points", developed the method of "main points should be matched with points" and made a clear explanation of "eight methods". "In addition, Gao Wu's Acupuncture Collection, Yang Jizhou's Famous Acupuncture Works and Wu Kun's six sets of acupuncture prescriptions,

Traditional Chinese medicine application

First, the attending role

The treatment range of Eight-pulse Intersection Point is very extensive, and the book "Guide to Acupuncture and Meridian" alone contains more than 200 main symptoms, which is determined by the particularity of Eight Points. Because each of these eight acupoints has its own meridians and odd meridians, and they are widely connected with other viscera, meridians, tissues and organs through them, acupuncture and moxibustion have the function of regulating the twelve meridians and Eight Strange Meridians.

Second, the treatment of diseases and syndromes.

1. Treat diseases related to viscera and meridians.

2. Treat irregular menstruation. The Eight Veins of Strange Meridian have certain routes and symptoms, which communicate with the twelve meridians, and play a role in the accumulation and infiltration of qi and blood in the twelve meridians. Since there are no acupoints in the other six meridians except Ren Du and Er Mai, the intersection of the eight meridians can be selected for treatment when the strange meridians are sick.

3. Single-point indication range

(1) Gongsun: It is the collateral point of the spleen meridian of Foot Taiyin, connecting the stomach meridian of Foot Yangming and dredging the pulse gate. 4. Indication range of acupoint combination

In clinical acupoint matching, eight acupoints are usually divided into four groups, which can change the bias of single acupoints, play a synergistic role, make the clinical curative effect more obvious and better reflect the overall effect. Its composition and therapeutic range are as follows:

(1) Gongsun Neiguan

Combining the effects of regulating qi, lowering adverse flow, dredging the stomach and intestines, and dredging the upper and lower parts. It is often used for diseases such as heart, chest septum, spleen and stomach, liver, etc., such as palpitation, chest obstruction, fullness in chest and abdomen, vomiting and hiccups, epigastric pain, dysentery and other digestive system diseases.

(2) Foot drooping-slanting off

The composition has the effects of clearing head, benefiting chest and hypochondriac, regulating qi, dredging collaterals and dispersing exterior syndrome. It is often used for diseases of canthus outside eyes, diseases behind ears, cheeks, neck, shoulders and sides, and diseases caused by exogenous cold, such as eye swelling, eye pain, tinnitus, deafness, migraine, intercostal neuralgia, cold-heat exterior syndrome, etc.

(3) Shenmai-Houxi

The composition has the effects of calming the heart, calming the nerves, refreshing the brain, inducing resuscitation, dredging channels and activating collaterals. It is often used for diseases of canthus, neck, neck, ears and shoulders, diseases of sun meridian, diseases of heart, liver and encephalopathy, such as arthralgia, convulsion, headache, dizziness, insomnia, epilepsy and hysteria caused by apoplexy, hemiplegia, soreness of waist and knees, and pathogenic wind-cold and dampness.

(4) according to the sea column.

Combined with the functions of tonifying lung qi, tonifying kidney qi, calming heart and clearing away deficiency and heat. It is often used for diseases such as lung system, throat, chest diaphragm, liver, heart and kidney, such as sore throat, unfavorable throat, aphonia, language disorder, cough, chest tightness, internal heat due to yin deficiency, insomnia, epilepsy, hysteria and dysuria.

Dou Hanqing summed up the treatment range of the intersection point of eight veins in Biao You Fu: "Yang Qiao Yang Wei, Du Meridian, the main shoulder, back, waist and legs are superficial diseases; Yin qi is swaying, and the yin dimension is the pulse, which removes the suspicion of tendon in the heart. "Yangqiao here refers to the Shenmai point that runs through Yangqiao vein, Yangwei refers to Waiguan point that runs through Yangwei vein, Du meridian refers to Houxi point that runs through Du vein, and banded pulse refers to the foot air pocket that runs through pulse condition. These four acupoints tend to treat external meridian diseases, such as shoulder, back, waist and leg diseases. However, those who pass through,, Ren pulse and Chong pulse respectively, Neiguan, and Gongsun are more inclined to treat visceral diseases from the inside. Similarly, Yinqiao refers to the point that runs through Yinqiao, Neiguan, Ren and Chong refer to Gongsun. These four points tend to treat diseases of stomach, heart and chest in stomach. This is a high generalization of the treatment scope of the eight-pulse intersection point.

From the above analysis, we can see that there are no four meridians of Yangming, Jueyin and Shaoyin, but these eight meridians alone can also treat the diseases and syndromes of these four viscera. The mechanism analysis is as follows: (1) Treating liver diseases. Although there are no acupoints directly related to the liver meridian among the eight acupoints, the pericardium meridian of hand Jueyin and the liver meridian of foot Jueyin are consistent and run on the chest and hypochondrium. Neiguan actually has the function of soothing the liver and promoting the circulation of qi, and can cure the chest and hypochondriac pain caused by stagnation of liver qi, so it is called "chest and hypochondriac resuscitation"; If it is deficiency syndrome of liver yin deficiency, Zhao Hai point can be selected. Because liver and kidney are homologous, nourishing water can contain wood. (2) treating heart disease. Pericardia is the periphery of the heart and is responsible for the evil of the heart. Therefore, acupoints of pericardium meridian are often used to treat heart meridian diseases, which is called acting on behalf of the monarch. (3) Treatment of large intestine diseases. Liezhen is the point of Taiyin Collateral of Hand, which connects the large intestine meridian of Hand Yangming, so it can treat diseases of large intestine and viscera. (4) treating stomach diseases. Gongsun is the collateral point of the spleen meridian of Foot Taiyin and connects the stomach meridian of Foot Yangming, which can treat stomach diseases.

Clinical experience shows that simple visceral diseases are mainly based on syndrome differentiation of zang-fu organs, and the prescription is composed of corresponding specific points; Diseases of head, face, limbs and body surface are mostly distinguished by the twelve meridians, and acupoints are mainly selected along meridians; If it is a multi-menstrual disease, the symptoms are complex and it is difficult to distinguish between excess and deficiency. If one zang-fu organ is difficult to generalize, or some mental and nervous system diseases, it is often satisfactory to use the odd meridians and eight veins to differentiate symptoms and choose the intersection point of the eight veins.

The importance of eight-pulse intersection points, as Li Yong said in "Medical Door": "Three hundred and sixty-five points of the whole body are unified in sixty-six points of hands and feet, and sixty-six points are unified in eight points", which means that eight-pulse intersection points can be used to treat systemic diseases, and eight points have a wide range of indications. Wu Kunyun, a physician in the Ming Dynasty, said: "Eight acupoints intersect with the eight strange meridians, but the acupoints are mainly outside, inside and outside. Zhongjing is better than typhoid fever, because there are six meridians. Now it is better to divide the eight meridians into eight meridians, and the twelve meridians are also a major practice of acupuncture ... ",and its theory is also brilliant.

Third, the method of matching points

1. Bilateral upper and lower acupoint selection: it is the most commonly used acupoint matching method in clinic, which can be used in all situations and has a good effect.

2. Unilateral upper and lower acupoints: diseases of the back and limbs, such as low back pain, various sprains, hemiplegia after stroke, polio, etc. And you can take a group of acupuncture points unilaterally.

3. Crossing acupoints from left to right and up and down: suitable for various head and face diseases, visceral diseases, fear of needles, weakness, mental stress, etc. And you need to choose points from the left and right sides to adjust the whole body.

4. Cooperate with other special points.

Gongsun and Neiguan, Houxi and Shenmai, Zulingqi and Waiguan, Legqog and Zhao Hai are often used to treat diseases where two veins intersect. Gongsuntong pulse and Neiguan Wei Tongyin pulse: in the heart, stomach and chest; Close to eyes, eyes, ears, cheeks, neck and shoulders; Houxi Tongdu Meridian, Shenmai Yangtong Qiaomai: Suitable for eyes, neck, ears and shoulders; Legue Tongren pulse and Haitong Yinqiao pulse: suitable for lung system, throat and chest diaphragm.

Song of Eight Veins Meeting Points

Gongsunchong pulse, chest and abdomen, Neiguan Yin dimension, consistent; The weeping gallbladder meridian is connected with the pulse, and the eye of Yang Wei is sharp and close to the outside;

Including the neck of Houxi Du Meridian, so is the Shenmai Yangluo Bridge; Legqog ren meridian runs the lung system, and Yinqiao shines on the throat of the sea septum.
