This disease is seen in adults, and it can irritate your stomach for many reasons, such as improper diet, viral and bacterial infections, and drug irritation. The best way to treat gastritis is self-care. As long as we can persist in treatment, take medicine on time, pay special attention to develop good habits of regular life and moderate diet, and do a good job of nursing, we can not only alleviate the pain, but also completely cure the disease.
The main manifestations are multiple verrucous, swollen, shriveled or papular masses in the gastric mucosa, with a diameter of 5 ~ 10 mm, mucosal defect or umbilical depression at the top, erosion in the center, no redness around the masses, but often accompanied by erythema of similar size, which is mostly found in the antrum of the stomach. It can be divided into two types: persistent and disappearing. Chronic gastritis is a special type of gastritis in Sydney's systematic classification, and endoscopic classification is convex erosive gastritis and flat erosive gastritis. Chronic gastritis lacks specific symptoms, and the severity of symptoms is not consistent with the degree of gastric mucosal lesions. Most patients often have asymptomatic or varying degrees of dyspepsia, such as dull pain in the upper abdomen, loss of appetite, fullness after meals, acid reflux and so on. Patients with atrophic gastritis may have anemia, watery sparse, glossitis, diarrhea and so on. Some patients with mucosal erosion have obvious epigastric pain and may have bleeding.
Endoscopic manifestations are often multiple punctate or aphthous ulcers. Chronic non-erosive gastritis can be idiopathic or caused by drugs (especially aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, see the treatment of peptic ulcer), Crohn's disease or viral infection. Helicobacter pylori may not play an important role here.
Symptoms are mostly nonspecific and may include nausea, vomiting and epigastric discomfort. Endoscopy showed that there was a little erosion on the edge of the thickened plica uplift, and there was a white spot or depression in the center. Histological changes are diverse. None of them has a broad curative effect or can be cured.
The treatment is mainly symptomatic, and the drugs include antacids, H2 antagonists and proton pump inhibitors. At the same time, drugs and food that can aggravate symptoms should be avoided. Recurrence and deterioration are common.
Avoid drinking strong tea, coffee, wine, etc. Eat less flatulence-prone foods, such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions and boiled soybeans.
Nutrition and diet therapy
● Eat liquid food.
Used for acute gastritis. To remove the cause, stay in bed, fast all foods or drugs that stimulate the stomach, fast or give liquid food as appropriate, and stop bleeding for those who have bleeding.
● Avoid eating rough and irritating food.
Avoid foods that are too hard, too spicy, too salty, too hot, too rough and irritating. Such as fried food, pickled food, pepper, garlic and so on. Regardless of whether citrus juice, tomato products, coffee, alcohol and all foods that directly stimulate the esophagus will cause stomach acid, you'd better avoid eating them.
● Avoid high-fat foods.
High-fat foods, alcohol, sugar and chocolate can relax the sphincter and cause reflux, so if you have heartburn symptoms, you should avoid these foods.
Slow down and help digestion.
Chewing slowly is definitely helpful for digestion. You should chew food thoroughly, mix it with saliva, and avoid stress when eating, which can make your digestion have a good start.
● Regular diet.
Pay attention to diet conditioning and maintenance, eat regularly and quantitatively, and maintain the rhythm of normal digestive activities. Never eat a full meal or skip breakfast on an empty stomach, especially avoid overeating.
● Pay attention to balanced nutrition.
Choose nutritious and digestible soft foods, and eat more foods containing plant protein and vitamins. You can eat boiled millet, rice porridge, goat's milk, yogurt, white cheese and caffeinated milk. If the symptoms are serious, eat some soft food, such as rice soup, avocado, banana, potato, pumpkin and so on. Crush all the vegetables before cooking. Occasionally eat steamed vegetables, such as carrots, carrots, broccoli and so on.
● A small amount of meals.
Eat more than three meals a day, such as six small meals, as long as you feel comfortable. Avoid eating before going to bed, and the diet should not be too full, so as to avoid excessive expansion of gastric antrum and increase gastric acid secretion.
● Increase the intake of cellulose.
Eat foods containing fiber. Fiber is considered as an anticancer component, and eating a high-fiber diet can also reduce the chance of duodenal ulcer. Fiber is considered to promote mucin secretion, and mucin can protect duodenal mucosa.
● Control drinking water.
People with gastric acid deficiency should avoid diluting gastric juice. It is advisable to add vinegar, lemon juice and acid seasoning crystals to the diet, and eat less food that is not easy to digest and flatulence. Try to drink less water before and after meals.
● Drink vegetable juice
Fresh cabbage juice is rich in glutamine, which can promote the growth of mucin-producing cells and protect gastric mucosa. Drink vegetable juice immediately after it is ready, and don't store it. Patients with hyperacidity should drink a cup when they have a stomachache to dilute their stomach acid.
● Yue breast.
For a long time, milk has been considered as an excellent gastric acid buffer, but although it can temporarily buffer gastric acid, later, calcium and protein in milk will stimulate more gastric acid secretion, making the stomach more uncomfortable; Almond milk is a good substitute.
● Do not take iron supplements.
If you have gastritis, taking iron supplements may cause serious nausea. Iron is irritating to the stomach.
● Supplement nutrition.
① Vitamin B 12
According to the product description, chronic gastritis may lead to anemia due to vitamin B 12 deficiency.
② Vitamin E and zinc
Vitamin e is 400IU a day, increasing gradually. Zinc 50-80 mg per day can increase the production of mucin, protect gastric mucosa and relieve pain.

Family therapy measures
● Relax.
Mental stress is a promoting factor of chronic gastritis and should be avoided. Emotional anxiety and impatience can easily lead to gastric mucosal disorder and gastric dysfunction. So try to avoid emotional stress and relieve tension. Usually, it is very beneficial to the recovery of gastritis to keep a good mood without getting angry, anxious and anxious.
● Take antibiotics.
Helicobacter pylori can cause gastritis and other digestive tract problems. Taking antibiotics for two weeks can defeat these bacteria. Helicobacter pylori can be detected by checking blood and saliva.
● Use antacids
For the commonly used antacids for the treatment of mild gastritis, it is best to take them about 1-2 hours after meals, which is the peak of gastric acid and just plays an antacid role. If you can take it again before going to bed at 9- 10 at night, the effect will be better.
● Use drugs with caution.
Aspirin, acetaminophen, phenylbutazone, indoles, tetracycline, erythromycin and prednisone should be avoided, especially in the active period of chronic gastritis.
● Appropriate exercise.
Proper exercise is a good way to increase gastrointestinal peristalsis, which can effectively promote gastric emptying, enhance gastrointestinal secretion function, improve digestion and contribute to the rehabilitation of gastritis.
● Quit smoking
Smoking will promote the onset of stomachache. After smoking, nicotine can stimulate gastric mucosa to increase gastric acid secretion, which has a harmful stimulating effect on gastric mucosa. Excessive smoking leads to dysfunction of pyloric sphincter, bile reflux and damage of gastric mucosa, which affects the blood supply of gastric mucosa and the repair and regeneration of gastric mucosal cells, so we should quit smoking.
● Stop spraying.
Alcohol can directly destroy the gastric mucosal barrier and invade the gastric mucosa, causing mucosal congestion, edema and erosion.
Pay attention to daily health care.
Suffering from chronic liver disease, diabetes and biliary tract diseases will reduce the local defense function of gastric mucosa and cause gastric dysfunction and gastritis. In addition, swallowing bacterial secretions caused by tonsillitis, sinusitis and dental caries infection can often reduce the barrier function of gastric mucosa and induce gastritis. Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to the control and treatment of the above diseases for the rehabilitation of chronic gastritis.
Other therapies
