Baitutan Town is located in the northeast of Liling City, 25 kilometers away from Liling City, less than 20 kilometers away from Shangrui Expressway, Zhejiang-Jiangxi Double Track and Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway. The new 106 national highway passes through the territory and mainly produces fireworks and firecrackers. It is the political, economic and cultural center in the east of Liling, and also an important commercial center in western Hunan. It now administers 14 administrative villages and 2 neighborhood committees, with a total area of 72.03 square kilometers and a population of 69,700. 1985: Withdraw villages and build towns. In 2005, it was listed as a model town for the construction of small towns in China and Hunan Province. In July 20 14, it was listed as a key town for small town construction in China.
