Raising yang in spring, the child is sick this year.
Neijing: "Spring March, this is called hair Chen. Heaven and earth are born and everything is glorious. " Spring is warm in bloom, everything grows, and the child's body is no exception. Spring and summer are the time when everything is thriving, and when children grow and develop vigorously, they need sufficient yang to encourage them. In addition, some children feel cold evil in autumn and winter and hide in their bodies. They can also get rid of their bodies through the rise of the sun's spirit in spring and summer.

Therefore, it is very necessary to raise yang for children in spring.

1, what is Yang?

Many parents don't know much about Yang and basically don't have the concept of raising Yang, which also makes parents unable to start.

In fact, for the human body, yang is an energy to maintain life activities. Exhaustion of Yang leads to decline, while loss of Yang leads to decline.

The ancients believed that extroverted, warm, uplifting and exciting things belonged to Yang, such as the sun, the south of the mountain and the north of the water. Again, cold, sunset and night are cloudy, such as the moon, the north of the mountain and the south of the water.

Yang changes qi and Yin changes shape, so Yang exists in the body, but it can't be seen or touched.

For example, imagine your body as a pot with water in it and firewood burning under it. The temperature generated by firewood burning is the yang of the body, which can warm our body fluids, viscera and body.

2. What will happen if the yang is insufficient?

Therefore, children with sufficient yang have strong ability to resist external evils and will not be easily attacked by external evils.

However, if in spring and summer, most parents only care about taking their children to eat and drink ice, but ignore the persistence of yang, which will lead to the dissipation of yang in their lungs and spleen. Spleen deficiency is prone to cold and dampness, ranging from diarrhea and vomiting to stomachache and anorexia, which even affects growth and development.

It's not an exaggeration to affect the growth and development, because children have spleen deficiency, what they eat can't be digested and absorbed, and the source of Yang Can can't be guaranteed. If yang is to maintain normal physiological activities, then less yang will be allocated to growth and development. In addition, if the yang is insufficient, the temper will be insufficient. Deficiency of spleen-qi needs kidney qi to supplement, and kidney controls growth and development. In the long run, it is difficult for children to grow taller because of insufficient kidney qi.

In addition, especially children with asthma, rhinitis and recurrent respiratory infections, if the yang is insufficient, they are more likely to feel exogenous pathogens or cold pathogens lurking. When it is cold in autumn and winter, the yin is strong and the yang is weak, and exogenous pathogens are easy to invade the human body, which will lead to recurrent respiratory diseases such as colds, rhinitis and asthma in children.

3. Why do you want to raise poplars in this season?

This is a sentence in Neijing: "Nourishing yang in spring and summer", which is the basic guiding ideology of TCM health preservation in spring and summer. The change of four seasons is "Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter Tibet". Spring and summer are sunny, and autumn and winter are cloudy. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that health preservation should conform to the laws of nature, so it is necessary to "nourish yang in spring and summer".

Simply put, it is because of the climate in spring and summer.

Spring and summer are the seasons for hair growth and development. Everything is prosperous, the sun is shining, the human body's pores are wide open, and a lot of sweating occurs. This is normal catharsis, but it is not normal without sweating. The process of sweating is also the process of qi, blood, energy and yang going out. So if you don't replenish the sun's spirit, it will be empty inside.

In addition, the weather is hot, and adults and children like to drink cold drinks to cool off the heat. The body is cold, but the yang is also invisibly damaged.

In fact, a considerable part of cold constitution is formed in summer, and cold pathogens may not attack immediately when they enter the body. There is an incubation period and an accumulation period, and it may suddenly attack at some time in the future.

One more thing, many people think that children are full of yang and don't need to be raised, so it is common practice to raise yin. But in fact, there is a great chance that cold evil will hurt Yang, and it is very severe. Therefore, it is very important to protect the yang when the weather is hot. The yang is well protected, and cold pathogens can't invade at all. Even if it invades, sweat can be discharged quickly and will not stay in the body.

4. How to supplement the yang?

After seeing this, many people began to look forward to any good recipes or delicious diets, but I want to say that spring aphrodisiac is not based on eating.

(1) Raising yang in spring and summer is the first priority.

Yang is active, and movement will rise, so raising Yang is proper exercise. After beginning of spring, the weather turned warmer, which was very suitable for a family spring outing, and was very beneficial to the elderly and children.

On the one hand, you can feel the warm sunshine in spring, on the other hand, you can feel the rising breath of nature, feel the anger of everything, and sweep away the cold wind in autumn and winter. It is very suitable for children who are not interested in sports, depressed and have bad liver qi. Moreover, there are many kinds of sports, such as climbing mountains and flying kites, and older children can ride bicycles, which are all good ways for children.

(2) Spring Cover and Sun Bei

Secondly, raising yang in spring and summer requires "spring cover". As the saying goes, spring covers autumn, and this spring covers mainly the spirit of the sun. The weather changes greatly in early spring, so parents can't dress their children less as soon as it gets warmer. It is likely that the weather is about to turn cloudy or the indoor temperature is low, leading to loss of yang and a cold. Therefore, proper spring covering can prevent catching cold and cover the yang in early spring, but don't cover it too much as in winter. This parent should grasp it by himself.

In fact, another way to raise yang is to bask in the back. Because the back is yang caused by du meridian, drying the back has the functions of warming du meridian, strengthening physique and enhancing cardiopulmonary function. If people with allergic rhinitis can try to dry their backs, they will generally feel the symptoms relieved after a period of time.

For children, back drying is also applicable, but it should be noted that it is best to choose 9~ 10 in the morning or 4~5 in the evening when the sunshine is not very strong, and the back drying time should be controlled as much as possible at 10 minutes.

(3) Sleep supplement and food supplement

Also, for children, food supplement is not as good as sleep supplement. As long as the child sleeps well, his height and weight will not be too bad even if he doesn't eat dietotherapy to promote height. In spring, parents should not only let their children go to bed early and get up early to ensure sleep time, but more importantly, let their children have a good nap. At noon every day, the sun is at its peak. At this time, taking a nap can rest the yang, and the effect of nourishing the yang is the best.

Ok, finally, talk about complementary food. Although food supplement is not as important as the previous items, it is also a relatively easy way to operate. After all, modern parents and children are very busy, and they may be eating and filling their bodies.

If I have to say something is the most nutritious, it is the abundant ingredients in the season, which is what we often say "eat in time". The concept of nutrition in traditional Chinese medicine does not lie in ingredients, but in foods that grow naturally in each season, which can best nourish physical and mental health.

(4) Chinese chives

Therefore, we should eat some foods that help the yang to rise. It seems that ordinary leeks are the first choice. Leek is warm, sweet and pungent. It enters the liver, kidney and stomach meridians, and has the functions of tonifying kidney and strengthening yang, warming the middle warmer, appetizing, clearing stomach, promoting qi circulation and removing blood stasis.

"Herbal Supplement" mentioned: "Leek warms the middle, lowers qi, tonifies deficiency and harmonizes viscera ... It is the most moist and beneficial dish, so you should eat it often." In spring, human liver qi tends to be vigorous, and health care focuses on nourishing the liver. Leek conforms to the health-keeping concept of "supporting the spring sun and nourishing the liver" in traditional Chinese medicine. In addition, eating more leeks can dispel yin and dispel cold, and enhance the qi of human spleen and stomach, which is most suitable for spring consumption. As for how to eat, I don't need to teach you. The only thing is not to put too much seasoning, which makes it particularly greasy.

At the turn of spring and summer, it is advisable to eat sweet and mild products in moderation. As the saying goes, "eat radish in winter and ginger in summer" is also true. Parents can moderately add ginger to their dishes and let their children eat some warm foods such as mustard, pumpkin and lotus seeds. They can also add spleen-strengthening ingredients such as dried tangerine peel, poria cocos, white lentils, peanuts, yam and carrots to their daily diet. Drinking warm water when thirsty helps to maintain the yang in the body, dispel the cold and dampness in the body, promote the transport and transformation of the spleen and stomach, enhance appetite, and thus promote growth and development.

But don't eat too much warm food, and don't eat too much spicy warm food, such as pepper, pepper, mutton and so on. To prevent the child's yang from rising too much and getting angry, causing aphtha, nosebleeds, tonsillitis and so on.
