What books did the eunuchs of the Ming Dynasty write?

Thanks to Mr. Jin Yong, many people will flash eight golden words in their minds: "If you want to practice, you must first enter the palace!"

In real history, of course, the eunuch of the Ming Dynasty did not write Biography of Sunflowers, but wrote another wonderful book.

This book is called Meditation.

Author Liu Ruoyu, eunuch, formerly known as Liu Shimin, was born in the 12th year of Wanli (A.D. 1584). His ancestral home is in Yanqing County, which is now Beijing. His family is not a eunuch's son, but a serious official's son, hereditary Yanqing Wei, in charge of state affairs. This official name is the same as the "hereditary guard commander" of Qi Jiguang family, but it is more important than the position of Qi family. Yanqing is a military fortress guarding the imperial city, which is much more important than the state capital where seagulls fly.

In his father's generation, the situation was even worse. His father's official position is the deputy commander of Liaoyang Xie Zhen, which is equivalent to the current deputy commander of the military region.

However, how did Liu Ruoyu become a eunuch?

According to himself, 16 years old, he "had a strange dream and went to the palace". Of course, he is a young man with lofty aspirations, not to be a eunuch, but to "abandon Confucianism to become a doctor and learn from health experts". It seems that he wants to be a fairy. No wonder, after the careful training of Emperor Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty, Taoist priests were very popular in temples and rivers and lakes, and Taoist theories were widely circulated.

In fact, it is said that there is a "self-palace school" in ancient practice methods. There is an old Taoist mantra "Xu Zhenjun's Iron Column" in the Dunhuang examination paper numbered Bo 3866. The last sentence says: "decompose, always analyze the essence." It means "cut it and it will exist forever."

Of course this is a lie! (Don't ask Bian Xiao how he knows)

The son of the deputy company commander was obviously cheated. After cutting for a year, he was mistakenly elected to the palace and became a little eunuch under eunuch Chen Moment. After Wei Zhongxian came to power, he began to attach great importance to Liu Gongzi. After all, there are too few eunuchs who have read books, and besides, they write well, so they send him to take care of documents, so he is the confidential administrator of the imperial palace. Later, because Liu Gongzi was so talented, Wei Zhongxian was jealous and picky. Liu Gongzi regretted it very much and changed his name to "Liu Ruoyu" to show his regret.

After Emperor Chongzhen ascended the throne, he killed Wei Zhongxian. Although Liu Ruoyu was not a eunuch, he was also implicated as a eunuch and was sent to Nanjing Xiaoling Wei as a net army. After turning around and returning to my ancestral hometown in Jiangsu, I still picked up my sword and started my old job.

Soon, Liu Ruoyu, who did nothing wrong, was beheaded and put on death row in the year of Gao Panlong case. And the real sinner is at large.

Liu Ruoyu remembered Taishi Gong Sima Qian in grief and indignation, so he also wrote a book with indignation, a book about his decades of palace experience, which recorded the daily life of Emperor Apocalypse, Emperor Chongzhen and his concubines, maids and eunuchs, and also recorded the ups and downs of Wei Zhongxian's palace experience. There is also a special chapter "Abandoned Land in Liaozuo", which records the rise and prosperity of Nuzhen in Jianzhou at that time.

Many years later, Emperor Qianlong came across this book and began to like it. Later, he saw the words "Lu" and "Nu chieftain", which exposed the disgraceful history of the early days of the founding of the Qing Dynasty. Angry, angry and afraid, he ordered it to be destroyed.

Fortunately, due to the high historical value of this book, it is widely circulated among the people, and this wonderful book of eunuchs in the Ming Dynasty has been circulated to this day.
