Be a man with Confucianism, keep in good health with Taoism, and purify the soul with Zen.
The essence of six people's thoughts is twenty-four words:

Be a man with Confucianism, preserve one's health with Taoism, purify one's mind with Zen, do one's duty with ink, take law as the foundation, and enter the market with soldiers.

From morality to politics, Confucius and Mencius, on the one hand, established a great ideal of personality, on the other hand, designed a systematic political and economic system.

Their ideological logic is to be a man first, then to do things, to be a good person and to do good things. In Confucian words, it is called "the sage inside and the king outside".

Zhu's so-called "Eight University Items", that is, "respecting things, knowing and doing, being sincere, cultivating one's morality, keeping one's family in order, governing the country and leveling the world", exactly follows this logic.

So Confucianism is actually moving from ethics to politics, which is an ethical politics.

Everything revolves around being a man and being a moral person, so the pursuit of the realm of life has become the core appeal of Confucianism.

To be a Confucian, we need to set up lofty ideals and do things in a down-to-earth manner. Confucius told us to "go to school and get ahead."

Our study on weekdays seems normal, but as long as you stick to this kind of study, your knowledge level, cultural taste and moral realm will be improved imperceptibly.

That is, constantly achieving the goal and getting closer and closer to that ideal.

There is a good saying:

Doing all ordinary things well is extraordinary, and doing all simple things right is not simple.

There is something extraordinary in the ordinary, and something not simple in the simple. In the words of the golden mean, it is "extremely clear and moderate."

The words of King Shang Tang: "New is new, and change is new." This is the basic requirement of Confucian life.

The positive and optimistic attitude towards life has directly cultivated the spirit of self-improvement of the Chinese nation.

The Book of Changes says, "A gentleman strives for self-improvement."

A gentleman can always get inspiration and encouragement from the flourishing universe, thus persevering in his career and ideal.

This sentence is also a famous sentence that inspired the Chinese nation for thousands of years.

It embodies the unique cultural concept of harmony between man and nature of the Chinese nation and has become an inexhaustible spiritual source of the Chinese nation.

The wisdom of Confucianism is mainly embodied in the spirit of the sun.

The spirit of Taoism is that of the moon. The wisdom of life is contained in the silent humility of Taoism.

This humility is like the moonlight silently caring for the earth. Look at the moonlight, how gentle and subtle it is!

China's great wisdom is that the sun and the moon intersect and Confucianism and Taoism complement each other.

Confucianism and Taoism complement each other, just like the alternation of the sun and the moon, just like the integration of dry and Kun, yin and yang are born together, rigidity and softness are combined, and reality and reality are born together.

Confucian demeanor, Taoist atmosphere, after the birth of WTO, doing nothing, helping the world, being generous and sad, cynical, living in the rivers and lakes, in Wei Que's heart.

Those wonderful things bring out the best in each other and form a spectacular picture of China's wisdom, which is both ethereal and rich.

Boundless realm, meditation five hearts.

Compassion: Compassion is actually a noble feeling of caring for the world, similar to Confucian morality. The Zen master said, "but how can I find his footprints among the fallen leaves piled up on the bare hillside!" "

Normal mind: there is greatness in the ordinary, which is the enlightenment of Zen. Therefore, Zen also talks about normal mind and ordinary things. Generally, monks are expected to say "a normal mind is the Tao" and "live in peace and enjoy happiness"

The pure heart: the dust is alive today, and Qian Shan is broken by thousands of waters ",which is the realm of pure heart with Zen as its heart. Huineng: Bodhi is neither a tree nor a mirror. There was nothing, where did the dust come from? "

Heart of freedom: To cultivate the heart of freedom is to break away from the lock of fame and fortune, jump out of the world of mortals and realize the transcendental spiritual realm.

To realize this spiritual realm, in the words of Buddhism, we must first give up and let go. Give up what? The Buddhist said, "There are six inner halls, six middle halls and six outer halls."

The heart of nature: Li Ao's poems praising Yaoshan are full of Zen flavor;

I chose to live in seclusion, and I was not sent all the year round and was not welcome.

Sometimes I go straight to the top of the lonely peak and laugh under the clouds under the moon.

The highest existence leads to nature. Laozi told us that "Taoism is natural", and Confucianism also said that "everything is self-satisfied when it is quiet, and people are happy when it is time."

It was so comfortable to watch everything exist that day. The alternation of spring, summer, autumn and winter, the eulogy of the four seasons and people's yearning for nature have combined into a beautiful life poem.

Zen strives to realize the natural realm of life, which is similar to the pursuit of Confucianism and Taoism.

Su Dongpo has a poem "Watching the Tide", which can help us understand the natural heart of Zen:

Lushan Mountain is misty, rainy and tidal, so don't hate it.

Speaking of nothing, Lushan Mountain is misty and rainy.

The natural heart of Zen is embodied in the essence of life. The so-called "flowers in spring, moons in autumn, cool breeze in summer and snow in winter."

If you have nothing to worry about, it will be a good time on earth. "Let nature take its course is to follow the laws of nature, just like an empty mountain with no one and flowing water in full bloom.

Zen is an attitude towards life, a realm of life, and a particularly affectionate way of living.

Without Zen, Zen makes life truly meaningful and valuable. Let's get some air in the noisy vanity fair and calm down from time to time.

A compassionate heart will make your humanity radiate the brilliance of Buddha and make people warm.

A normal heart will make you willing to take it lightly and take pleasure in it.

A clean heart will make you calm and refreshed.

A free heart will make you feel at ease everywhere.

A natural heart will let you know the outside world, return to the origin of life and get the most beautiful settlement.

Only in this way can you overcome the confusion and vanity in your life journey and live a free, stretched and happy life.
