Excuse me, what's the use of a dog's cardiotonic? Ask god for help
Parvovirus: The disease is an acute infectious disease in dogs. Hemorrhagic enteritis or non-suppurative myocarditis is the main clinical feature. Sometimes the infection rate can be as high as 100%, and the mortality rate is 10-50%. The virus was first isolated in Changchun on 1982 by PLA Veterinary University (now renamed Agriculture and Animal Husbandry University), which confirmed that the disease also existed in China. Parvovirus in dogs, cats and minks has certain antigen correlation. Sick dogs are the main source of infection of the disease, and the toxic content in feces, urine, vomit and saliva of sick dogs is the highest. Sick dogs constantly detoxify and infect other healthy dogs. The feces of rehabilitation dogs are poisonous for a long time, so it is extremely difficult to completely eliminate the disease once the dog gets sick. Besides dogs, wolves, foxes and raccoons can also be naturally infected. The disease is mainly infected by direct or indirect contact. Canine parvovirus has strong resistance to external factors. The virus can survive for 65,438+0 hours at 60~C and endure for 30 minutes at 80 ~ C. The virus is still infectious in acidic environment (hydrogen ion concentration of 65,438+0,000 micromoles/liter, i.e. pH3) and alkaline environment (hydrogen ion concentration 1 mmol/liter, i.e. pH9). The virus is sensitive to 0.5% formalin or 0.5% oxyacetic acid, but insensitive to chloroform and ether. If toxic feces and intestines are refrigerated at low temperature, their infectivity can be maintained for a long time. (Diagnostic points) (1) Epidemic characteristics: The epidemic of this disease has no obvious seasonality, and it is more common in cold winter. Myocarditis syndrome is the main symptom of newly weaned puppies, and enteritis syndrome is the main symptom of puppies. (2) Characteristics of light beam; This disease mainly appears in two forms in clinic; Namely enteritis type and myocarditis type. ① Enteritis type: the incubation period is 7 ~ 14 days, usually vomiting first and then diarrhea, and the feces are yellow or grayish yellow, containing a lot of mucus and pseudomembranes. Two to three days after illness, the feces are tomato juice-like, mixed with bloodshot and have a special fishy smell. At this time, the sick dog was depressed, lost appetite, his body temperature rose above 40℃, and his thirst was aggravated. In some sick dogs, the body temperature is lower than normal temperature in the later stage, and the mucosa is pale, and the tail and hind abdomen are often polluted by feces. In severe cases, the anus is relaxed and open. ② Myocarditis type: puppies have difficulty breathing, palpitation and hyperactivity, pale and visible mucosa, physical exhaustion and frequent sudden death. According to the above epidemic characteristics and clinical symptoms, a preliminary diagnosis can usually be made. Clinically, we should pay attention to whether the sick dog has vomiting and diarrhea. If further diagnosis is needed, the diarrhea fluid of sick dogs should be taken at the early stage and mixed with 0.5% pig red blood cell suspension at 4℃ or 25℃ in proportion to observe its agglutination effect on red blood cells. When necessary, stool samples can also be sent to the inspection unit for electron microscope examination for diagnosis. (Preventive measures) First, we should do a good job in immunization at ordinary times. Domestic inactivated canine parvovirus vaccine is used in combination with other vaccines. When using attenuated pentavaccine for dogs, dogs aged 30-90 days should be injected 3 times, and dogs aged over 90 days should be injected 2 times, with an interval of 2-4 weeks. Every injection 1 dose (2 ml), and then strengthen immunization 1 time every six months. When the combined vaccine of canine hepatitis and enteritis is used, dogs aged 30-90 days are immunized three times, and dogs aged over 90 days are immunized twice, with an interval of 2-4 weeks, and each injection is 1 ml. Second, dogs should be isolated in time after the disease occurs, and the kennel and feeding utensils should be disinfected repeatedly with 2 ~ 4% caustic soda, 1% formalin, 0.5% peracetic acid or 5 ~ 6% sodium perchlorate (diluted 32 times). For dogs that are not likely to be cured, they should be culled as soon as possible and deeply burned. Third, for mild cases, symptomatic treatment and supportive treatment should be taken. For enteritis cases, due to excessive dehydration and salt loss, timely and appropriate rehydration is very important. To prevent secondary infection, antibiotics should be injected on time. Anti-canine parvovirus hyperimmune serum can also be used for treatment, and its dosage is: subcutaneous or intramuscular injection of 5 ~ 10 ml per dog, once a day or every other day, 2 ~ 3 times in a row. At present, canine parvovirus has spread on a large scale, and many dog lovers have lost a lot of their dogs. The following treatment is the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine, and the success rate is relatively high. This is how my puppy was cured (currently recovering, no diarrhea). The first day of onset: infusion. The main drugs are gentamicin, hyperimmune serum, amino acids, vitamin C and glucose (total 1.30 yuan). Only gentamicin, vitamin C and glucose can be used. The condition is: Tula. The next day: infusion, no medicine needed. (130 yuan) Condition: Draw and pull all the time. On the third day, I found a prescription on the Internet: Pulsatilla 15g, Mume 15g, Coptidis Rhizoma 5g, Cortex Phellodendri 5g, Curcuma aromatica 10g, and terminalia chebula 10g. I took the appeal medicine to the pharmacy for consultation. They are all traditional Chinese medicines for clearing away heat and toxic materials. They are commonly used drugs. They are easy to buy and cost 2.5 yuan RMB. After taking the Chinese medicine home, I added about 2 bowls of water (usually eating bowls) and stayed up for half an hour. Then filter out the medicine and add a lot of glucose and vitamins (vitamins are used in Yangshengtang and sold in supermarkets). Then take out the medicine with a needle and force the dog to fill it once at noon and once at night 1 1: 00. Condition: I don't pull badly, but I throw up as soon as I drink water. On the fourth day, the infusion was continued, and the serum was changed into micro monoclonal antibody, and the traditional Chinese medicine was continued to be fed. Antibodies are more expensive than serum. I used 200 yuan a day. ) When I got home, I squeezed out some delicious bags for the puppy to eat (made into paste), mixed some glucose and vitamins, added some warm water and gave the puppy three injections. Conditions: the painting is not bad, don't pull. Day 5: Don't go to infusion, continue to feed Chinese medicine. A friend's relatives are veterinarians and asked me to feed him ribavirin. I bought a bottle of ribavirin, ate half a tablet, ground it into powder, mixed it with traditional Chinese medicine and glucose, and fed it to the dog once a day. Conditions: Not bad. I only painted it twice (rarely) and pulled it once today. Day 6: I didn't go to infusion. Continue to infuse traditional Chinese medicine, reduce the dosage of traditional Chinese medicine, increase the dosage of vitamin tablets and glucose, and feed it three times a day, once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once before going to bed. Boil another egg, take the yolk, break it and put it in glucose. Condition: Yes, I vomited once (a small amount) and pulled it once on the 7th day (article written today): In order to prevent recurrence, I bought antibodies on Taobao and gave the puppy an injection (very simple, I just lifted the skin off the puppy's neck and stuck it in the skin, the dosage was 10ML). Increased the dosage of vitamins, glucose, egg yolk, etc. Then I asked my friend's relatives that I could feed the puppy rice noodles and rub his stomach, saying it was a folk prescription. He said that this was how they treated it in that area (animal husbandry area), and it was very effective. He asked me to find three kinds of drugs (unfortunately, I couldn't buy them): 1. Pioneer Baidu (veterinary Chinese patent medicine) II. Ribavirin (bought this the other day) 3. On the first day, there were five sick puppies in the hospital, all of whom went on the same day. As a result, three puppies have died today, and one is in a bad state. My puppy is the best. Summary: 1. Rubbing the puppy's stomach will be much more comfortable. Especially after taking the medicine, it is not easy to vomit, so that the pharmaceutical ingredients can be absorbed. 2. Ribavirin and antibody (or hyperimmune serum) are essential. 3. If the condition is slightly improved, you have to feed glucose and egg yolk, otherwise it is easy to starve the puppy, and hunger will reduce the resistance. You can't feed anything until you get better. The curative effect of Chinese medicine is really good. It is recommended to increase this medicine when the condition improves. 6. Before buying a puppy in the future, buy some test strips for parvovirus and canine distemper virus. Keep dogs away from minor symptoms. There are three kinds of ailments. For dogs, it is a terrible infectious disease with high mortality. Dogs of all ages are likely to be infected, especially those puppies, which are more likely to get this disease. Dogs have an incubation period of about 7 days after being infected with a minor illness. Its symptoms are divided into three types: gastroenteritis type, sick dogs will vomit and pull, and in severe cases, they will discharge bloody stool; Myocarditis type, which is similar to human heart disease, the sick dog often dies before treatment; Gastroenteritis and myocarditis are mixed, and the mixed situation is the most serious. The cause of the disease is infectious disease, which is generally divided into direct infection and indirect infection. Healthy dogs can smell the feces and urine of sick dogs, or get in close contact with sick dogs, and strong winds can spread the feces and urine of sick dogs, which can cause direct infection. The second is indirect infection, that is, the owner comes into contact with a sick dog and then comes into contact with a healthy dog without disinfection. The treatment and prevention of minor illnesses are sudden and serious, which makes many owners unprepared. In fact, as long as the careful owner finds the dog has signs of illness and takes it to see a doctor without delaying the treatment time, the minor illness can still be cured. Although treatment is important, early prevention is more important. First of all, when dog owners take their dogs outdoors, try not to go to places with many dogs, such as parks, pet hospitals, pet markets and other places where dogs are often walked. If you go, be sure to disinfect with disinfectant or soap. Secondly, don't let your dog smell the urine of other dogs, and try to avoid letting your dog contact strange dogs. The most effective preventive measure is to vaccinate dogs as soon as possible, especially those dogs with weak constitution, which can improve immunity and increase the success rate of treatment.
